lol, Hummels 15 mils would be a steel :D he is worth at least 20. Will easily be one of the worlds best CB in 1-2 years...

It seems that we keep having ppl suggesting midfielders/strikers/forwards. Anyone looking at our defence? Vidic & Rio getting old currently and more injury prone. Need fresh blood to brood thou.Any ideas to share? Although our midfield need bolstering (Scholes/Giggs in semi-retirement sector), we shouldn't miss out the overall factors.Need capable replacements/cover in future for first team,for example when evans,jones,evra not available through injuries? Share some thoughts :) More realistic i be looking at Kagawa,Powell,Clyne,Joe Allen.

My line up next season De Gea Clyne Vidic Jones Evra/Baines Carrick Modric Valencia Kagawa Young Rooney Subs Lindegaard Hernandez Nani Cleverley Anderson Smalling Dembele I would sign Powell aswell but i would then loan him straight back out for a season. That is a great line up

If Sahin bulks up slightly, he would be an awesome player. But he would be a major gamble although he has bags of potential...

I think Sahin's a very good player. He didn't play much last season for Real but from what I did see, for a scrawny guy, he can definitely tackle and he releases the ball quickly too. His passing range is definitely comparable with Scholes. I think he could do a Xavi kind of a job for us with Kagawa playing forward. He hasn't been getting much playing time primarily because of the Khedira and Alonso ahead of him and not to mention his injury. I think we should test Real Madrid and a cheeky bid of 14-15M would be good enough to prize away a quality midfielder. I wouldn't mind having the former and current Bundesliga Player of the Year in our team. Other than Sahin, I would try to use Berbatov and Anderson and a little bit of cash to get Andre Schurrle. He's a young forward who'll probably be partnering Gomez upfront for Germany. This guy can shoot for sure. He's scored quite a few goals outside the box. He plays for Bayer Leverkussen and is just 21 years. Jordi Alba seems to be Barcelona bound, so I guess Baines wouldn't be too bad of a cover for Evra but I would have used a rather younger understudy for Evra. I think Fryers has great potential to be a great LB and needs to be promoted rather than buying a LB. So my purchases for the summer would be Sahin for 14-15M, Kagawa for 15-18M and Andre Schurrle for Anderson + Berbatov + 5M

It isn't that easy as you think. We want 10million for Berba but interested parties aren't willing to pay that much of money. I think Ando will stay for another year so we dont need so many midfielders. 4 players will be enogh. Clyne , Kagawa , DM & LB. But I think we'll sign only 2 players this summer.
