Spot on, if he were soldt the Real Madrid President would certainly lose his job come the next election.

    He's Madrids golden boy!

I would love him at United would a brilliant replacement for when Neville retires. He can also play at centre back aswell as left back so basically  he would be a perfect signing and still only 21 years old hes miles better then the overrated Alves

We don't need such a big name for a RB. We still have Gary and hopefully he stays fit more often next season. Can't see SAF dropping him when he's fit. Anyway, can't imagine Real selling Ramos or us putting up the kind of 65 mil bid the papers suggest for that matter.

  • im sorry im sayin this but i did not like the way ramos played today he doesnt run back on defense and cuz of him ibrahimovic scored

  • When signing Richards you would also have to consider the fact that he is afterall a Man City player now. There would be fans that grumble at the signing of a man city player and everybody knows that fans are the blood and life of every club. Not a wise decision i would say.

    Re: Sergio Ramos *Only Ramos*

Today's posts extracted from the thread "Alex Fergie interest in signing Sergio Ramos?!"

  • What i mean by him being loyal is because Fergie made him the player he is today. With the discipline and the hard work he has turned into a better player and i believe he wouldnt have been this player if he was in another club. Man utd is a massive club just as big as Real Madrid so why should he not be loyal to man utd ? i just dont see why everyone wants to play in Madrid or Barca, We are champions of Europe and have been playing the best football in Europe for the past two years.. Theres nothing Madrid has that he doesn't have at United..Ide rather he leaves than keep on talking about how much he loves spain and wearing all white and *** like that.. Next thing u know he will influence the whole team to want to leave.. No1 is bigger than the club .. not even the best player in the world..

  • Now wait a minute

    This is getting interesting

We might just be going for one of Real's best players cuz Real's going 4 one of our best players

    I wouldn't mind a trade of ronaldo = Sergio Ramos + Robinho + say... 30m

We could use that 30m + saha to get Benzema or use the money of selling saha + the 30m to get Villa

Ronaldo could be gotten over by that

So its pretty much Ronaldo + Saha = Sergio Ramos + Robinho + Villa

What a deal that would be for us.  It would sure make me happy!!!!Big Smile.  Torres has completely dismissed any talk of leaving Liverpool and stated he was very happy there.  I'm put off by Ronaldos failure to do this, he plays for the European champions and should tell the media loudly that he enjoys being a Red and playing in a young team who could dominate for 6 years.

  • Peole again won´t like this posting, but I will answer anyway. ;-)

"What i mean by him being loyal is because Fergie made him the player he is today. With the discipline and the hard work he has turned into a better player and i believe he wouldnt have been this player if he was in another club."

-------> Probably right, yes. But as I said: You have 10 years to fulfill your dreams as a player - not much more. And I can´t blame anyone doing that.

"We are champions of Europe and have been playing the best football in Europe for the past two years.."

    -----> 100% correct

"i just dont see why everyone wants to play in Madrid or Barca, ... Theres nothing Madrid has that he doesn't have at United."

-----> Not quite. Real Madrid is still much more "legend" than Manchester (based on the history not on recent years). People here hate this statement :-) which I understand perfectly, but it´s true. Don´t forget, that especially for EVERY player with latin origin, Real is THE legend from his first days of childhood. And there is something difficult to explain aditionally: The quality of life, living in Madrid, Sevilla or Barcelona is so much higher than in nearly any other city of Europe. Those are the main reasons, why Real stiill "sounds" more to many players than Manchester.

BUT. Ronaldo would be very clever staying with Manchester! As he isn´t that clever and childhood dreams are very strong, he will join Madrid.

  • We may TRY and get the best player available but even he has the right to refuse. You have to admit that not everyone wants to come to United. Besides, the club may not want to sell. There is also the possibility that the best player available might not fit into the squad. So there are many factors to consider when trying to find a replacement. It isn't as easy as it seems.

Can you think of any soccer player who never make mistake throughout his whole career? C'mon give him a break. He is overall very good player. For attacking RB, he is better than Daniel Alves. Sevilla gave a lot of goals from his right flank.

    Re: Sergio Ramos *Only Ramos*

"and said that he does fancy making a move to us maybe"

    --------

That´s not exactly what he said. He said, he likes the idea, that an important club like Manchester is interested in him. But that his presence and his future was in Real Madrid.

Every player would love the idea to be high rated by a club like Manutd (and if not, he´s stupid *lol*). But that doesn´t mean, Ramos will leave.

As I explained in another post. People like Raúl, Casillas, Guti, Ramos will not be sold under no circumstances. The president would lose the next elections, as the thousands of "socios" (paying members of the club and voting owners!) would make him lose the next election if he sells fans darlings. Interesting is, that Ramos is the only player of this group not having been brought up in the club. But anyway fans love him, which I understand perfectly as I see him number 1 worldwide in the group of defensive players with great attacking qualities (Puyol is as good in defense, but doesn´t have attacking qualities like Ramos).
