Start debating about the first lineup of Manutd players for the first game against newcastle for the new season withouth Ronaldo inlvolved,there is trouble and only trouble surrounding this guy,Man utd is a very big club with great history and pride,loosing Ronaldo will be very damaging for the club and the way it has been dealing with its star players since long,as far as i know United never sold their star player withouth thier own will.

Ronaldo has become a great player,he wants to move on,and he also wishes to fulfil his mothers desire,he won things are OT,now he wants to do it elsewhere,there is a feeling that he is also worried that United wont carry on as successfull as 2008,Unsecure about how Chelsea are spending,there is a better chance of winning trophies at Real than United because of how touch it has become to win things at EPL because of the money that club owners spend on players,especialy Chelsea,the margine was little this time between teams competing for the title,next season it would be even tougher for the reason that the clubs are already spending alot,new emerging clubs like Spurs and ManCity are spending big to compete with others..At spain the usual ones fighting for the title would be Real,Barca,Valensia and so on.If you look at it,Manutd will have to fight harder to win the title again,while Real wont have to do as much as United to win the title,because of the easiness of the league and the clubs involved.

I wont say coward because he is running away from the tougher challenge but understandable,if he wishes to win things at other places then why not,let him go.75mils is enough money to buy good players.

The main battle is about pride,United never sold their star players and they arent selling club,and Ronaldo is also a very profitable  economically ,his presence at OT can only benefit the club,just like becks..

But there is something going on and it is not good,if you are talking about protecting the pride of the club then i would say lets not sell the player,and if not then sell him,he doesnt luv it here why force him.

The Mirror also reported a couple of days ago that Ronaldo had revealed to "close friends" that he was sick of the treatment he had received from the Glazers and SAF concerning a new contract and that he would not be returning to Carrington after Portugal's exit from the Euros.

It's all paper talk which in other words means it's all bulls**t!

If we sell him, yes it's a loss, but im sure the money coming in from the sale and maybe even the players we get in exchange will make it worth while! (Ramos and Sneijder anyone!)

If we don't sell him then SAF can finally be at rest and properly begin to create his squad for next year!

All I know is It's gonna be one hell of a summer lol!

Christopher, whats even funnier is that it didnt actually say reasonable, it said "We would willingly reach an agreement with Manchester United if it is possible, that is to say, if they want to sell and if the price was affordable." and this makes it even funnier as like you pointed out they said money is no issue. Its amazing how even tho they said they would pay us £100m for him and we said no, now reports suggest they are gonna offer us £50m. If he does stay i'll be happy, and if he leaves in a deal involving Robinho, Ramos and money i'll be happy as well.

when i saw this i was over the moon.. but then when i looked at the otehr tranfer news on the page it said United won the race for Ramsey... so my not be as realiable, shame really as i wish i was.

All we've been hearing is Ronaldo has told Madrid he is leaving United but now Madrid say they are in the dark and are waiting on his decision.

For me I believe he will stay, we have heard him say he wanted to stay before the euros and just after the champions league final, he has never officially said he wants to leave and Sir Alex is confident he will stay as is Rio Ferdinand.

Reports also claim Real have turned their attentions to other players, funny how one minute they are saying 'money is no option' and now on sky sports they say as long as the price is reasonable.

I say, buy the new kit next season and get RONALDO 7 ON THE BACK.
