i think mourinho knows somehow that he will succeed sir alex at old trafford, wheather sir alex has told him or the glazers have hinted him,

i think sir alex will let rooney join madrid and swap him with benzema and when sir alex calls it a day, mourinho will take over and re sign rooney for united.

 SAF purely because he knows the club inside out from the youngest players that have come in to the tea lady.. he has a hand in everything that happens in the club which is the reason why the club is as successful as it is.

after SAF retires i want JM to be the next manager. he will fit perfectly here!

I think Jose Mourinho is determined to plant a little seed in everyone's head that he really wants the Manchester United job. He keeps throwing little hints in interviews he has. But I would prefer Sir Alex Ferguson to be the Manchester United manager forever, but unfortunately he can't, so when he retires, Jose Mourinho would be my first choice as his replacement.
