    Re: Alan Hutton from Rangers?

yeah ill name a few, philipp lahm, he plays on the left, but being naturally right footed, he wud be more than comfortable there, daniel alves, defends, attacks, knows how to take free kicks, has the vision of a playmaker, has everything, sergio ramos who plays RB for madrid, excellent player, scores loads of goals, brilliant tough tackler, very comfortable on the ball and very attacking, played CB last season and was madrids best defender ahead of world and european player of the yr cannavaro, that says it all!

he is nowhere near the best RB in the world, there are much better players than him

We already have many versatile players. so it's ok. Rio isnt a versatile player. isnt he playing well? isnt he good? So, a team has to has some "experts" and hutton may not be versatile but he the BEST RIGHT BACK in the world right now. saw a many gers matches and he is damn good.

well did you also see vidic(188cm) challenging cahill for the header? evra has been one of our best players this and last season, and im sure lahm can adjust to EPL. im not saying we need loads of oshea, but when fergie buys, he looks for players that have versitility like nani, anderson, ronaldo, tevez, rooney, evra, hargo, etc. if we have loads of injuries like last season against milan, thats where versitility comes in ad if hutton can only play RB, that doesnt help

We dont need 20 Oshea in a team. we just need a player who is the best in the world at his position. and lahm is a dwarf just like evra. and did u see evra challenging cahill for the a header??

hutton can only play RB, no versitility, unlike lahm and ivanovic

I don't think Hutton will make much of a difference to United. Look at the statistics!! 26 appearances and already 10 yellow cards and 1 red card!! If United signs him, we'll probably slump down the league because of his tackles.

10 yellow cards in 26 games is alot. If we sign him, i hope he could change a bit in tackling.

Gary is getting closer to retirement...Right back is a position UNITED should look for.. But Simpson can take his place if he works hard

i d like if he could join us (because he s quick and offers lots of solutions going forward). But only in two cases:

if Neville can't go back to his best because if he can he ll be first choice in most games.

If Brown leaves at the end of the season because if he does we ll need as good cover as the one he is doing at the moment and i believe Hutton is more than capable of doing that.

Wink   Good fit and an excellent choice.  Reminds me of Vidic in his intensity!!!

Shows how much you actually know about him. He dominated french and italian wingbacks.....against France, who scotland beat twice and kept 2 clean sheets against. And against Italy why they were VERY unlucky to lose against.

Did you even watch the Rangers Lyon game where Lyon won?Tongue Tied  Rangers hammered them but got caught on the break at the end twice. Hutton was great again in that, dont talk about things you have no idea about. He is just as good as Lahm is.
