Its about time that people starting supporting the Glazers. They are not stupid. They may be in it for the money, but they are in it for the long run too. Lastly, they know how to run a business, and Manchester united is a business.

The glazers have been great for the club except for the debts and i hope they will sort out the debts as quick as possible... :)

Other than that, we have spent a lot on transfers like last season... they supported SAF a lot... :)

its not about money.. its about quality of players.

United could spend a 5r this summer and still be in at least the top 2

money isnt everything. people are just greedy and see the need to change things all the time with more purchases... look at the youth squad, i'd rather build them up than spend all our money.

I agree, in the end, its about the quality of players.

NO. Money takes away the spirit of football. Look at all our best players - Giggs, Scholes, Neville, Brown, Beckham, All of these came through the ranks at Old trafford, and not just brought when there was the first glimse of talent.

    That's spot on!

Brown one of our best players? What about Evra, Vidic, Nani, Anderson, Ronaldo, VdS, Schmeichel, Cantona, Tevez, Rooney, RvN, Solskjaer, Hargraeves, Carrick, Ferdinand, York, Cole, Sheringham etc. etc?¨

The best players are brought in to the club but hopefully can we bring up players from our own ranks that are more than just to fill up the squad with decent back-up players (like Brown, Fletcher, O'Shea, Foster etc.).

But you are right that money takes the spirit away, hopefully we can continue to bring in young talents (like we have done with Possebon, Silva*2, Petrucci, Anderson etc.) so there is time for them to develope a true United heart (that a 27 year old Berbatov never will have the time for). Mercenaries are for Chelski, but the best players are still almost always bought, in one way or another.

I totally agree with Dont get Me Started

We have the money to buy any player in the world, but we spend our money wisely unlike Chelsea who just throw money at teams and try to buy the title thats not our style. If we see a player thats worth 30-40million but will improve our squad then we will sign that player.

Money isnt everythink, to Chelsea it is and the way they are carrying on to me they are really desperate and its just sad,do it the proper way like us the champions and the best team in the world.

So its not the case of other teams having richer owners then us cause that is not true,we can compete with any team in the world when it comes to signing a player we always have done we always will do

I disagree; look at the tsar and the team he has cobbled together with his overflowing coffers… they are a squad of self-entitled “stars”… without class. Nope, we are doing just fine… I have never been a great Glazer supporter nevertheless, they aren’t as bad as everyone predicted.

Yeah, the Glazers have not turned out to be as bad as everyone thought...

Re: Richer owners than Glazers, more fund to spend.

It depends on how the money is used, and what the owner is like. We do have great training facilities already, but they could maybe be improved, and the money could do that. It would also mean that if there was a player SAF or the next manager really thought was a good addition, and the club overpriced them, then we could afford them.

However, i wouldnt want to pay an exagerated fee just because we have the money, and if the owner was like Abramovich, then we would be ruined, let the manager make the transfers, not the owners.

So what im saying is, i dont see any reason to get new, richer owners, we are doing perfectly fine, and we've won the last 2 PL titles, and one CL title, so is there a reason to change?
