John Terry and Wayne Rooney didnt retire so why should Giggs. Are you saying he is weaker then them?

    be quiet please

Most players thrive on being booed or jeered - Like Denis Law said - "the Kop never made an abusive song up about a bad player" Can't you remember the Ronaldo saga when he came back from the World Cup and the boos he got?

Lol you are probably one of those idiots who say he should retire because he had 1 bad game against Barcelona.

He should retire when he thinks it`s his time to retire. It`s up to him.

Nope, for me if he continues to contribute in such a class way on the field then he can stay as long as he's able. The rest is just a challenge he will have to face and use as motivation.

So it'll be painful for you that the rival fans will boo Giggsy, when they do it anyways regardless of what's going on?

agreed. Moreover, he wasnt poor against barca at all. I actually felt that he performed pretty well against them.

My issue with him isnt only with him in the final. In the first half i felt like we did a great job. We had the energy inthe midfield closing them down. They scored but we got right back into it. ITs like something happened at half time and we just didnt have th energy to close them down anymore. That is where i think we lost the game.

i just think its time. scholes retired. unfortunately every good thing comes to an end. he is 37 and i assume will actually retire eventually...or SAF plans to regenerate him year after year like mr burns in the simpsons (sorry I'm getting sarcastic hah hah)

I dont understand why football fans are so weird with age. Yes there is a age when footballers slow down but have you seen Giggs slow down?

37 is just a number. He is proving each season that he is still one of the best in the league. Look at all those assits he made in the Champions league.

He is still a great player to have in your squad even if he isnt gonna start every game.

Scholes retired but giggs is a whole different person.

Re: Should Giggs retire this season only?

Have you seen his performance in the last few games? U claim that you love him and yet u want united to lose such a brilliant player?

Besides, why should he bother about what our rival fans think of him? Few people outside OT love Gary Neville but do you think it bothers him at all?

If giggs thinks that he can continue then i'm more than happy to watch him tear the opposition apart for 1 more year.
