    Re: LOUIS SAHA STAYING :D

I dont know whats the point of keeping him...talk about a waste of money!

He is hardly fit and when he is most of the time he just doesn't have the confidence that he is fit enough to play a game (I remember SAF talking about this sometime last season!)

I'd rather he goes to Valencia and we get Silva/Villa

    That's good news...

...and to his detractors, I wouldn’t be too tough on him... his injuries are all related to his hamstrings - that’s because he has too much muscle on the front of his thighs as compared to the back - and Fergie said they are working on improving the conditioning of it. It’s hardly his fault that he’s that athletic (it’s probably those muscles that give him his explosive pace and jump); again, it’s not like he twisted his ankle or didn’t train and hence got fatigued, hamstring injuries are very common in sports with a lot of pace and jumpin.

Fergie is right, Saha is an explosive, talented player and I will rather have him seating on the bench or even better, playing regularly than the likes of Campbell (who by the way hasn’t mastered the art of a controlled first touch  ).

Excellent post, Saha is all of the above, if any of problems which bring on the majority of his injuries can be rectified, his staying with the club will be a plus. Admittedly, I fear his ongoing injury woes... but somehow I foresee if he is sent packing, he will suddenly overcome the injuries and in turn, come back to haunt us.

I think Sir Alex was merely stating that Saha is a good striker WHEN fit, he is talking him up so to increase his price. I just hope that we can somehow include him in any deal for Silva and or Villa. The sooner Saha leaves and takes his 60k a week wages with him the better!!!

What makes you say that. Its well known that Valencia are in finiancial trouble and they need to raise money fast, the concensus is that they will either sell Silva or Villa or both.

Why do you think he's going nowhere?

SAF only stated that is brilliant when he is fit I totally agree. The problem is now he's hardly ever fit.

Please sell as part of the Silva deal hopefully

    Re: LOUIS SAHA STAYING :D

Sorry but having seen the interview, he did not state Saha would stay, just said he was a fantastic player etc etc, programme to keep him fit raise self confidence etc etc. Could be more of a case of highlighting him as a player and what he can bring to a team for a possible/probable sale sometime soon. He'd have gone to Sunderland if he'd not been injured.

When he is fit, he is a great striker, and if he stays fit this season, it'll be a big boost to our squad.
