Should have taken a leaf from Arsenal's books, KIDS wins you nothing, sorry but it's the truth. We've gone backwards from last season, 6-1 to City, we'd lose 12-1 against Barcelona.

Truely outstandingly pathetic performance by the champions.

    A very dark day indeed!

A dark day when the players themselves show an abundance of fecklessness, no energy, no drive = no point in showing up except the money's REALLY GOOD!

Fletcher was one of a very few who actually tried and HE SCORED! A beauty.

Ohwell one loss doesn't spell dooms day........just yet.Wink

Re: United v City - Official Match Tracker thread

Central Midfield, Central Midfield, Central Midfield........we cant expect to compete with the quality of players we have to choose from for central midfield.

Every team we would categorise ourselves with - Barca, RM, Inter, Bayern, Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Tottenham and even lesser teams have far superor players than us in central midfield.
    Fletcher- average
    Anderson -average
    Carrick - below average
    Giggs - below average(now)

These players wouldnt make it into the reserve sides of the other teams mentioned. We are desperate for Cleverley to come back but we shouldnt be so reliant on a newcomer to the first team. It's a disgrace that we haven't managed to get a couple of world class players in during god knows how many transfer windows.
And what happens when you have an average central midfield?? The strikers spend the game dropping back to the half way line to make things happen.
Yes our defence needs to tighten up but we've had a nightmare run on injuries and to ne fair if we had anything like a half decent midfield then we would be keeping oppostion defences to busy to worry about ours.

Our worst defeat at old trafford during the PL era, disgrace, bragging rights right there for city. Just wish we had Cantona, Keane, Ronaldo, the players that got stuck in !!!!!
