Sepp Blatter:Selfish? A win is a win plus he gets a clean sheet. A clean sheet to most goal keepers is like a goal to a striker. As a GOAL KEEPER he'd be pretty silly to say that he'd be happy to concede at ANY time.
I know, but common, you would honestly rather see us win 1-0 than 10-1??!!!
same logic with going to school and passing the examinations LOL ... "I'd rather score 51/100 than score 90/100 or 95/100 ... etc etc ... as long as I pass" LOL
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
another example LOL ... instead of making $2 or $3 or $4 in Profit (in Busniess) ... "Im content with making only $1 ... its a GOOD Business ... LOL"
Poor examples, what would be more accurate is, 1. Does it matter how much i score in an exam as long as i get an A? 2. Would you rather run a business that was in debt, or one which was free of debt(unlikely), even if the former would yield SLIGHTLY (goal difference is hardly ever the deciding factor in the league title) higher profits. Moving on, this is PURELY MY OWN PREFERENCE, but I prefer a game where both sides have a chance of win the game, as long as at the end, we come out on top. That's what makes the game interesting isn't it, and one of the reasons why I'm a man utd fan. I mean, if we won 10-0 every game, where's the excitement? the drama? If we won every game easily, then football would be much less interesting to watch, wouldn't it? If every game the opposition are literally guaranteed to lose. I want us to win the league as much as the next man utd fan, but not easily like Barca, but in a competitive and exciting league like the EPL. And what Lindergaard has said is correct. If you look at it from HIS perspective, it is justified for him to prefer a 1-0 than a 10-1, because it would mean that he's done a fantastic job, compared to a 10-1 where the team dominates the entire game and still manages to let in a goal, in other words, he's done a poor job. So yes, he is correct so don't find ways to fault him thanks.
