Oh shush, if you had any sense you would not being saying that! Without Rooney we are absolutly useless, and even if he was playing badly today, we be even worse without him! Its true, rooney was right to question the clubs ambition because the squad is full of average players!
    Well said mate

heis overpaid and underperforming, he hasnt justified his inflated wage since his dummy throwing tantrum last year, sell him and use the money better, his 200k a week is money down the drain

    Re: Twitter rumours about Rooney..

The fact is that rooney is a b***h. He complains about every little thing, if someone misplaces a pass that was meant to go to him, he takes it out on the rest of the team and the millions of fans by playing like s**t. his first touch is awful, i've hardly ever seen him control the ball well in his united career. He lacks pace, his short passing is abysmal at times. I see people complaining about Nani and how he is inconsistent, but never seem to hear it about rooney. He goes on these runs of 4 or 5 games where he scores goals and then goes missing for the rest of the season. I realised this a long time ago, but respected him as a player because of the amount of passion and determination he had about playing football. However, his true colours were shown last year where he had the audacity to demand 250000 pounds a week. He put the greatest manager of all time in such a terrible position and for the first time in his career Fergie looked helpless and clueless. I am shocked by some peoples decisions to support this horrible human being. However, people just blame the manager as it is the easiest thing to do. Where would we be without sir alex? Fighting for a top 6 spot with Liverpool and some people would choose Rooney over this man? These people are not worthy of being United fans. I cant wait to see the back of Wayne Rooney, what a pathetic excuse for a human being. For those who still have something to say in order to defend him ask yourselves the question, is Rooney a better player now then when he was the young lad we bought from everton? He hasn't got better in any department but has lost his determination.

Very good then. To which team? Definitely not RM or Barca and City can't be interested. Hope he is ready for a pay cut.
I can bet with my life that all three clubs will fight for him. mourinho will be the 1st on queue

I wish u culd see rooney in a team like barca and madrid then u will know what a player he really is..far from overrated he is just surrounded by bunch of average players.just look at how he performed when cleverley was running the midfield scoring for fun until disaster stroke and we went back to our usual slow midfielders.

Wouldn't be surprised, the only reason he was kept is because it was the lesser of two evils, Fergie knew that if Rooney left he'd have to buy and buy big, which glazer wouldn't allow and Fergie couldn't be a*sed doing, hence he just gave in and offered him a new deal

    Re: Twitter rumours about Rooney..

I think this will happen. Rooney just doesn't look interested at all in being at United. Fergie should have let him go when he had his chance, once something as serious as Rooney was thinking is in your head the doubts will always be there at the back of the mind niggling away. Another aspect is that Rooney is the only real world class talent we have left at the club to cash in on if Fergie wants money for players in the summer. I think the relationship with Fergie will be engineered in a way that it will deteriorate to such an extent that Roo will be sold and Fergie will look like he had no choice. Just a hunch.

kickoff ur right, but the main problem is that we are owned by americans who don't give a **** as long as the seats are full and paid for, unfortunately by the time they aren't and they will p*** off it will be topo late for the club. Bums on seats cash in the bank that's what they think of

I still dont understand why SAF bowed down to Rooney last time. Should have sold Rooney then. On the other hand, I do understand Rooney's frustration over the lack of world class players at United in comparison to Barca and Madrid.
That's what annoyed me in Rooney's statement about staying, he said it was not about money he was given assurances about world class players being brought to the club. Everyone knows the Glaziers will never put up the money and they even seem to have SAF in there back pocket now by saying we don't need to buy. Yes i like Rooney and yes i like SAF but don't talk to us like we are stupid. THE CURRENT SQUAD JUST ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH.

spot on CVP1982, cant help thinking back to all those class players SAF got rid of because they upset him, Stam, Beckham, Keane, Van the man, Lee Sharpe, saying that they had done things that were not good for the club. Suppose Giggs and his sister-in-law, model and court injunction were all GOOD for the club then!!!!!!!!!!

I think Rooneys right he did say he will buy world- class players look at what we ended up with average ones at best thats why we fail this squad is no where near the best far from it and its right we got no money for any players as we keep on saying we have when we have not i wont blame him for going why keep on geting lied to all the time he knows thats it the end of the road for us as a great team the tide has turned we will end up fighting for a top 10 place soon.
