I was thinking about this after the match. Because both Jones and Smalling have done really well there but after seeing Rafeal vs Bolton he looked back to his best and he was just running past Valencia finding himself in the box. And he has a trick or 2 to get past people. And as someone mentioned further down His performances stick in the memory something that Fabio has failed to do really. And he has performed well against the best in the game. Robinho, Ronaldinho, Ribery and he marked Bale out of a game when everyone was bricking it about the qualities of Bale. But he did get taken to school by Bellamy once. If only he could stay fit.
Agree with you. He went on a crazy run against Bolton where the players just parted like the red sea and he ended up taking a shot. Even the United players didn't expect him to get so far. Ok Rio did the same thing later but he did cost almost 30 million and has proven himself to be world class. Great to see the defenders bringing the ball so far up the pitch.

If fit, one of the twins. Rafael's stint at right back is glued in my memory more than Fabio's so I'd have to say Rafa.
yea erm i wrote rafael/fabio becuase they play so similar so either one of them for me is as good as the other and i prefer that style of play to other right backs,, so yah :)

    our best right back?

personally i prefer rafael/fabio becuase as we are an attacking team our full backs should have attacking qualities ,and rafael offers this also he has a great cross , then jones becuase i prefer him in adavnced positions as he is too good , to be restricted as a centre back . but not the biggest fan of smalling becuase hes not the best with his feet and lacks a final ball , anythoughts?
