Re: Did anyone notice Rafael`s touch?

He has so much potential and skill! He's very brave for such a small guy. Needs to work on his timing tho. Gets too many unnecessary yellow cards

2nd time in a row (Livers before!) BY FAR THE BEST MAN ON THE PITCH with all that it means (Valencia - again - & Carrick next to him!) - well done ... the game should have been won easily though, chels are down atm ... good comeback though, def.!!!

Rafael was awesome. his overall play was terrified. but too bad he has to be replaced coz Fergie needs to shuffle his men in order to keep up the pace.

Rafael was world class today. So happy to see him back. Let's hope Fabio gets game time at left back, too, and give Evra some rest.
I would honestly prefer seeing Fabio on the pitch in place of Evra, because, Fabio is excellent going forward and is also a good in defense, better than Evra anyway

Rafa was immense. When he plays like that it's incredible. Aggressive, yet accurate with tackles. Needs to be more of a threat going forward and he'll b one of worlds best.

Looks like the penny as dropped at last, lot of thought in his game at the moment no rash challenges, looks like he as lost his puppy fat around the midriff and as played well since coming back. excellent today maintains this form he will be there for a very long time. lets hope so.

Re: Did anyone notice Rafael`s touch?

Yeah Rafael is our only proper RB. He was fantastic today especially in the 1st 20min. Jones and Smalling can cover for him temporarily but they just don't have the same ability he has to play in his position, I am not slating Jones or Smalling here. I'm just saying they are CB's not FB's 2 very different positions

Absolutely class, thought he was one of our best players along with Rooney,Evans and De Gea.Malouda could do nothing. If he kept up that form he'd be the best Right Back in the world easily

It was amazing the way he brought the ball down and everything.Complete Brazilian!
Thank you for starting the thread. rarely is there such unanimity that he played really well. I also agree he is our natural right back way ahead of smalling and jones in that position.

fergie has to give fabio a chance at left back or buy a new left back, evra has been poor in every sense of the word the season.
