Berbatov has shown through his own mental weakness that he is a "big fish in a little pond type player". Utd is too big a club for him.

maybe why he never cut it in the champions league. can't remember a good game he had in that competition.

Jada-Jada-Jada...... Bla-Bla-Bla....... B.u.l.l.sh!!! Berba rocks!!! He is the best player in Man. Utd.(ever since Ronaldo left) along with Vida, Rooney, Scholes and Nani. People here are either blind or stupid.
Face it, Berbaflop doesn't have the balls to play for this club...
Well, let's then hope that every flop player with "no balls to play for a really big team" we ever sign, scores 55 goals for us in 3 and a half seasons. If Berbatov is no more needed, it is his time to go. But this is not a reason to deny his contributions for these years. We won two EPL titles with him playing a serious role with important goals. And without beeing a Berba fan, I am just not going to forget his hattrick against Liverpool. Would you?
No I won't forget that hat trick but if that's all he is remembered for after 3 and a half seasons, doesn't say much does it?
It is not all, but just the most memorable match. If you were following the games we have played for these 3 and a half seasons, I am sure you are able to find yourself some more moments that deserve to be remembered.
Followed united for more than 3 and a half seasons thanks, and my opinion which is just that an opinion is that he hasn't been a great player for us, far from it...He's been average for us at best, a few stand out games over 3 and a half seasons isn't good enough for a player of his talent. So to refer you to my first post he doesn't have the mental strength to be a utd player so don't kid yourself into thinking he's the best thing since sliced bread because he isn't and he isn't going to be remembered the way Ole, Cantana, Sheringham, Cole, Yorke, Rooney etc are....

it's tough for a player when he arrives under a big price tag. we all had big expectations for Berbatov. last year he was joint top scorer, but he still couldn't get into the team at times because of Chicharitos form. i don't think he has a future at United for much longer, it looks like we might keep him for another year, but that is unwise because he will probably go on a free the year after. i don't know with Berbatov, sometimes he can be really up for a game sometimes he wont be. i don't think he has justified his transfer fee. credit to him he never moans about not being selected. but he does moan on the pitch when things don't go his way. this has been a bad year for him.

    Re: Berbatov?

    WWM:
It has been clear for a few years now that he is destined for the bench.
Funny you say that because last season was Berba's most prolific and it was quite clear from the summer tour that year that SAF was all about Berba when the rest were recovering from the World Cup. He talked Berba up in the press, started him, complimented his play after matches and in general did a lot to build up his confidence. As a result, Berba played brilliantly until he got benched for Chicharito in the 2nd half of last season. If it had "been clear for a few years now that he is destined for the bench" then why did SAF go on a big "Berba's brilliant" campaign last year?
    WWM:
Hernandez and Walbeck are much better players.
Really? They have more skill with the ball, can dictate play, can hold up play, win the golden boot and all that? One or both of them may one day be better players but not as of now.
    WWM:
Rooney and Nani do not like to play with Berba
I'd love to know how you learned this. If you're so tight with Rooney and Nani maybe you can introduce a few of us to them!!! I, for one, haven't read anything that confirms what you're saying. Nor have I ever noticed anything during a game to confirm what you're saying though maybe you've run a body-language analysis with the FBI and uncovered the truth.

Ha,Ha,why this reminds me of the Chelsea/Mourinho saga? That's what you get when you don't respect those who have contributed so much for the club. It's a downfall from here boys...UNFORTUNATELY.Run Berba, run, run, run away ASAP
Irony you should complain about not respecting those who've done so much for the club after your previous post. Another hurt fanboy.

Move where? out of Europa League.......the facts talk - Berba benched=out of all competitions for the season. Loss vs City will cost the title...and this is with what so called "best"player of Chicha and Welbeck.
We lost in 4 of the 11 games he started this year, was this also because he's benched?

No idea why we are talking about a player who does not fit in Manchester United future plans. The guy has some silky skills but has never fitted in. It has been clear for a few years now that he is destined for the bench. Hernandez and Walbeck are much better players. Rooney and Nani do not like to play with Berba so let's hope we will get some money back from the massive $30 Milion + we paid for him and move on.
    I Love Manchester United
