Re: berbat-off. striker may leave says saf

I agree he should go. We pay a lot of money to him to sometimes not even make the match day squad. I see Owen leaving too and I do think we'll sign a striker if they both do go. Cos macheda ent good enough and keane don't look ready just yet, a loan along the lines of what welbeck did may tell us if he can cut the mustard at the very top. So basically I feel we may b in the market for a striker.

I don't think another striker would be necessary even if we sold berba AND owen. We'd still have chicha, welbeck and rooney, with promising players waiting to make the step up to the first team. Some will say that the reserves won't be ready if one of the first teamers gets injured, but don't forget macheda will be back, that and the fact it'd be sheer idiocy if we splashed out 20 mil plus on someone who's only here as cover.
It's so simple to be wise; think of something stupid to say and don't say it

I think its for the best that he leaves that way he can go somewhere whr he ll actually get to play and we will have a slot open to bring in a young attacker .the likes of Pulido, B.Dost or L.Damaio if we could get one of them in for the money we get for berba it ll be good for future
