Everyone needs to be honest and focus....problem was the lineup....Fergie had taken 20 players with him....he starts with park and giggs and carrick in midfield...again and this is a fact bad decision making....if he had started with welbeck scholes pogba young in midfield and chica and rooney up front, can anyone argue that we would have at least shown greater attacking intent..if Fergie was even more alert to REALITY, then he would have even thrown in cleverly and berba as subs with giggs a last resort...he messed up, the players know it, most fans know it, other teams know it, even the glazers know it...but sadly FERGIE is clueless.

Meh... we played to about 10% of our ability, they played to 100% of theirs... it showed. They played this like a cup final (it is their cup final, really). We played it like a game we didn't really want to play. It's of secondary importance, and to be honest, I don't really care. Good games to watch, but it was just an inconvenience.

People say we have been poor in europe this season, have we been good in PL, dont think so, compared to seasons like 2007,2008,2009, our brand of football has gone down, and we have strugled to beat teams down the PL table. Teams come to OT nowadays and give us a fight and we can witness that we were strugling to win matches against Pl teams at OT, which we used to rule. We are lucky that teams like Chelsea, liverpool are struglling too, and spurs and city dont have the experience too win titles, otherwise we wouldnt have fared that well in Pl too.Look how we played in the spurs game, they were the best team 3/4 of the game, and we were completely outplayed in most occasions. sooooooooooooooo pls stop the ***, saying things like there is no value for money in the transfer market, the squad is strong. If others are spending money as one of the three biggest clubs in the world no point saying all this nonsense and sit back and only pay glazers loans. if the transfer market is such that players are expensive, we cant sit down and wait telling all this rubbish stories. we already missed players like david silva, sanchez, ozil, david villa, benzema, di maria. How long we going to depend on Scholes, and Giggs they are not getting ypounger, dont think that they can last for a whole season. Well michael Carrick looks good in the midfield because all other midfielders are rubbish thats the truth, would real madrid or barca will play Carrick answer is no, if we wont to compete with these teams get players like Modric, Erikson, Yann m villa, Hazard and build the team with excellent players we have like rooney, AV, Nani,wellback,da silva's, johnes, smallings. The simple truth is that no side in the EPL would have stood up to the display of Athletic Bilbao tonight. They were faster, more skillful and tactically more accomplished than any side in the EPL that I have seen this season. They played like Barca. Manchester United have to learn how to play like them or least try to and it won't be easy because the EPL style is helter-skelter, rush, rush, rush and that seems to be what your average fan wants to see, lots of goalmouth action. As for saying that most United players are not fit to wear the shirt, how many past United teams could have played like Athletic Bilbao tonight ?

100% agree with you guys. SAF has become techinally bankrupt, He need to go rob some football academy in Spain to gain something. Our side is full of mediocrity, to me it does not mean anything that we are on pole postion in EPL, because that is not gonna last for long. I said this at the begining of the season that we will be out of CL, EL, FA Cup, Carling Cup and we wont win the league and I was called all sort of names. My reasoning came from looking at the type of quality that we had at our disposal, there was nothing to write home about except some fluke perfomances from Cleverley in the community Shield and some people thiught we were gonna be world beaters.....and so far I have been right in my assement.

Yes we were dirt poor in both legs, no doubt about that, but i think the main reason 4 our exit is we were simply shocked at the energy levels of Bilbao. I mean they looked like a team on steroids. We can sit here all night and *** our own team off (arguably deserved) but it just ain't gunna help. Pogba looked positive for the short while he was on, cleverly was as poor as iv'e seen any player ever & i don't think he has the cutting edge to be a 1st team regular. Rafael is overall good enough but is suspect, Young is devastating when he wants to be but he wasn't in the game at all tonight. Chica should of started with Welbeck up front with Rooney just behind, Scholes would have given us a breather and a bit of our own tempo aswell. Fergie must admit he got the team selection awfully wrong. Furthermore i would like to congratulate Bilbao on a quite magnificent technical and physical performance over both legs & i really do hope they win the competition now. Anyway Wolves away next and we MUST clear our heads and accept what's happend, because we were just outplayed. Still.... MANCHESTER UNITED TILL I DIE !!!!

It´s sad to watch United playing that way. It´s sad to know they won´t get any trophies this season even though they´re top in the PL. It´s incredible and sad to see there is no real replacement for Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic... It´s frustrating to watch every United´s game this season. And it´s a MUST for Fergie to call it a day.
