I certainly care for one. We just got totally dominated and embarrassed by a side which is supposed to be quite average in Spain. A 'real united fan' on this forum should be convinced that we United doesn't spend on player but have been winning trophies for long by promoting players from their academy and also slate teams like city, real, city, barca, chelsea and real for overspending instead of constantly promoting from within like us.

Agreed. To use the excuse that 'we do not care about' is a response typical from mancity or losing arrogant teams. Was it not Fergie and a bunch of players who do interviews and proclaim that they are here to win it...they played bad and the team selection was bad...no mystery here...Fergie is the problem...everyone needs to realize it...he fielded 5 midfielders and still got kicked up the ....he should have put on all his strikers...as maddening as that sounds but if he had welbeck, hernandez, rooney, berbatov all on with the two wing players, we would have made a better impact...even if we win the league this season...I don't think it is anything to be proud of..

How did Welbeck do allright? How can people say that. He did not have enough time to show too much but for the time he was on the pitch he barely touched the ball.

Yes, we were abysmal, but immense credit to Bilbao and their supporters. They played the game in fantastic spirit, non stop support and showed true class applauding both Giggs and Rooney's goal. No time wasting or dirty tactics, just pure football. There are a lot of English (and other nationalities too) teams who could do worse than to follow their example. They fully deserved that and I hope they go on and win it.
