buy more technical players who are more comfortable on the ball, we won't fall victim to barca's constant pressing. Look how comfortable the likes of martinez, munain, llorente, oscar were on the ball. As good as carrick, park, young, giggs are, they keep making unforced errors, lose possession and fail to create a single shot on target.

I agree with that as i always feel barca are slow starters to most games, if we could get a goal early on and really set up defencively then we could win it. I think us winning them is very much down to us psychologically, we have lost to them twice and they are named the best team in the world. I think our players dont no how to handle them and make stupid mistakes, when we get the ball it feels we want to get rid of it as soon as we have it which isnt our style of play. The next time we meet i hope we start paul scholes( if he hasnt retired) as when he came on last year he looked so composed on the ball and relaxed you could of mistaked him for having a kick about in the park. Scholes doesnt change his style of play for any team and this serves him well, he relies on his skill and this is what more of our team need to do in order to win against them.

at the moment defend well and take your chances....in the future hopefully be able to keep and pass the ball well enough so that there pressing game doesnt win them the ball back so often...also run your *** off after every single one of there players wen they are in posseion

This isn't a whinge about our failed European campaign or a demand that we go out and spend a 100 mil on new signings, its an actual question, given that my background is Rugby League and Cricket I dont really have a depth of knowledge when it comes to Football tactics.
