    Re: Madrid Melting Down?

It's simple, Mourinho is a sore loser.

He instills this mentality into his players in a bid to make them competitive. That's how Chelsea were in CL final 2008 - remember the Drogba red card situation? Same applied at the "scandal of Stamford bridge" and the "scandal of the bernabeu", both games against Barcelona where Mourinho sides were totally out played.

It's said that it's good to be a bad loser because that means you never want to lose and hate the idea of it.

A sore loser is a different thing altogether and it damages the game. One thing is for sure, I could not see myself supporting a side with Mourinho, Pepe or Ramos on the books.

While we focus on Chelsea's meltdown under AVB and keep hoping for a City meltdown to take them out of the title race, did we just see one major meltdown by Real Madrid?

A tight call gives Villareal a free kick, they score, the game is now drawn 1-1. After that we see Jose, Ramos and Ozil sent off. Remember this is after the game was tied up and with what about 10 minutes to play, so certainly enough time for RM to win if they maintain composure. The lead that was 10 points a week or so ago is now down to 6. Are Real Madrid starting to look a bit tired? Is Jose feeling too much pressure or did he make a tactical decision to try and get sent off to build an us vs them mentality or the run in?

They lost the plot yesterday at a point when they should not have. they still had time to pull 3 points out of that game and they instead decided to go a bit nuts. The Ref may not have been at his best but you can't lose focus like that.

An April 22nd date with Barca in the league, what looked like it might be a meaningless game in terms of the standings, now has a chance to be very instrumental in deciding the title.

Wooh. One thing I thought Jose was, was a bankable manager to win any league once they had a certain amount of points. Did it in Portugal, England and Italy. 10 points now down to 6. Thats with Barca set to play them which I would put any money on them getting 3 points. Business end of the season I just see Barca winning every game left. Like Utd of Old, Barca were in the league this season. Slow starters up to Christmas. Put putting a string of results towards the end of the season. Three points in my mind is what Real now have over Barca. If they lose even one more match than the Barca match, Barca will top the group with a better record against them. God I never thought this was even a possibility with Jose at the helm and a 10 points advantage. Would love Barca to win it, just so Ronaldo still doesn't win a league medal since he left Utd. Serves him right. If he doesn't win one this season he will only have a copa del reye to his name for the three years he has been at the club. Could have got two more medals with Utd if he stayed. good riddance and may he never win another league medal or Euro medal for the rest of his career.
I have a sense of myself but I'm not too aware!

ref was bad, but yeah, you are right. The manager must set the eg. When mourinho and his cronies complain , it sets a bad eg to the players. Of all the top teams they have the dumbest and the most quick-tempered players in ramos and pepe. But, to be fair to them, even tho they were 2 men down, the looked the more likely to score and they were still attacking. I still think they will win the league
