    At the moment, he is the captain, he just isn't wearing the band! All communication from SAF goes through him... He could be our next captain as he, as you say, has become a natural leader

    After what happened last season it may have been hard to justify that for Ferguson but I'm sure it will happen once Vidic retires/moves on.

    Wayne Rooney for captain

    Judging by Evra's current form-despite being one of the best LBs in the world- he doesnt seem to justify his lofty position as captain. The only other player who i can think of (apart from the injured vidic) is Wayne Rooney. His form is excellent and his disciplinary record is immaculate this season. He really has become a natural leader who can set a footballing example (unlike Babytelli) and i believe SAF should consider him as captain.
