We'll get modric for about 35m. Once he requests to leave officially like he will at the end of the season coupled with his refusal to sign an improved deal will leave spurs with little option. I think modric will really push for a move close season and we all know that once that happens with a player he always goes in the end. They may have cajoled him into 1 more season but thats it. He off in summer and no way for 50m!! That's ludicrous, it will b 35 max

Modric is now 27 years old, would cost around 40-50m or something stupid. I think we should pursue other options and let Chelski or City have him.

Strootman only seen a few times similar to Carrick could be a cheaper option to Martinez.

i hate the way people start suggesting players only after hearing about them. hate the way people suggest players just because the MEDIA HAS. does no one watch their own admired players these days? eg. media suggest strootman. now everyone on here are saying he is ideal.....sorry but where was your ideal suggestion before. myself amada rr united are the only ones iv seen before posting about him

Modric will b here next season if we get our way. He'll b fergies number1 target and if he goes anywhere it wil be OT. Strootman , who knows, but he fits the profile of a fergie signing and as a starter in one of the worlds best national sides, 15m wud b great value.

Strootman seems like a realistic chance.

But Modric? NO chance.. We wont pay £50+ million for Modric and if City get involved then expect that price and wages to get higher....

I think that we will go in for a couple of midfielders, so do you think that we could get both of these in? It would leave us with good options:

Modric, Strootman, Scholes, Pogba, Cleverly, Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick.
