Re: Petrucci interview in Inside United!

who needs another winger? i think that would be ridiculous if we trade home grown player for foreign player. Petrucci and macheda clearly have talents and they still have years to develop their ability. I believe this is just a gossip as the media expect united to sign top players

According to an article a deal for gaitan will be cash plus players. It suggests bebe and macheda/petrucci. Hope its not petrucci, if he is getting a new deal then it cant be petrucci.

Maybe SAF has his priorities wrong plaring pogba and morrison before Petrucci. He is at least loyal to the club and I dont want to see another pogba situation with him.

Seems like he has his..erh...head put on correctly. Such a players question why we should not bend over backwards for the likes of Pogba or Morrison (even though this statement conflict with my previous opinion on why we should keep pogba and Morrison lol). Hope to seem him loaned out to a bpl club that gives him...erh...regular playing time.

This guy's attitude is fantastic the likes of pogba and morrison should learn! Great example for the other young players to follow!

Are you more of a complete midfielder now? Obviously I like to play going forward. But I need to be ready to do everything - sometimes you have to play in front of the defence, sometimes in the middle. You just have to be ready to do everything. If you are a complete midfielder, you have more chances to do well.

Hmm...seems to me like he started off as a deep-lying forward like Totti. Then, they converted him to be a midfielder, which is why he's talking about having defensive responsibilities.

I thought he was going to be our next deep-lying forward coming to the first team, since the only other one that we have is Rooney, but it seems as if he's being moulded into a central midfielder. I guess we'll see how he'll play once he gets into the first team. Ultimately, Sir Alex will decide what role he will play.

for me hes the one to watch out for to make the break through he is a really talented player and i do think if it wasnt due to the injuries we would of seen alot more of him either on the bench or a loan to a decent club

United Reserves' Italian captain Davide Petrucci talks about his hopes of breaking into the first team... Are you pleased with how the season is going? I'm happy because we are doing so well. We're top of the league and we're working hard to stay there. We hope to win it.

How much have you had to adapt your game personally? Warren Joyce has praised your running and tackling... When I came here, I obviously wasn't used to English football. They told me that, to play in England, you have to play with the ball but also do the defensive part. That's what I'm trying to be focused on now. I feel better because I had injuries but now I feel good so I want to push myself.

How pleased are you to captain the Reserves? I feel very proud when I am on the pitch wearing the armband. Just playing for United is so good. I try [to lead by example] but they are all great lads and they know how to behave already.

You were on the bench for the first team as part of the squad at Spurs, although you weren't a sub... Yes, I travelled with the team and that was such a great experience. That was my dream - to play for the first team - so that's been my target and I want to achieve that. Hopefully I can have more chances. The next step up will be to be on the bench and making my debut would be my dream.

Do you feel you're close to breaking through? I'm not far but, at the same time, it's still far off. I have to work very hard here at United. Even the biggest player is never settled [in terms of his place] and there are always challenges in front of them. It's the same for everyone.

Sorry for it being difficult to read. For some reason cant get each question to appear pn a different line
To get paragraphs do this on a seperate line

and put the letter p in the middle of both of these.... <> <> So in the centre of both signs put a p and that will paragraph it for you.

    Thank you for the instructions!
