Re: Lack of Left Footed Players....

    LooneyRed:
I believe that we are too predictable on the wings at the moment , we don't have that left footed winger, so defenders always know that Young will cut inside or need Evra to overlap for him to cross, thats why Giggs came on yesterday i think, hopefully when Nani returns on Wednesday we will see the difference.
There is no doubt in my mind that we need a pacey left footed winger,so we can stretch teams on both sides of the pitch, right now we are so one sided,to be quite honest we might as well, close the left hand side down for maintenance work,Young is not the answer for me as we need a player who can take right backs to the cleaners, with blistering pace and whipping the ball when getting to the bye line.As a left back or a right back you would have nightmares thinking of playing against Nani or Valencia, could you really think of defenders quaking in their boots playing Ashley young, yesterdays game against QPR was a perfect example it wasn't until Giggs came on that we got our first decent cross from the left wing.

Nani is right footed mate, but i take your point about a natural left sided player, but quality lef foots are few and far between! Mine excluded, the club are welcome to my wand anytime they want it!

i agree totally, but i would like to see a left footed left winger playing on the left not nani because he will try to cuy inside aswell, we need someone who can go to byline and whip in a decent cross
