    Gareth Bale is turning out to be one of the best players in the league at the moment. I think we need to make a bid for him especially if Spurs fail to get into the top four. Bale showed he can be a real threat against Inter last season. This season he has been consistently good, always a threat in games. SAF wanted him when he was 17, but at that time he wanted first team football. If we make a bid for him this summer I think he may consider a move. Ashley Young and Nani are great wingers. But sometimes a bit too predictable. Young always cuts in on his right foot for crosses. Nani can battle with Valencia on the right. But we really need a proper left footer on the left. Bale is ideal for a replacement for Giggs. Bale has pace, power and can take on players and cross. He is someone who can produce something special when things are not going well. I hope you can all agree. I rather try and get Bale than Modric.
    i only fear for the financial implication but, Bale and Modric are perfect replacements for Giggs and Scholes, respectively. But, the boss might have other plans in mind. We can make a $60 - $70 mil bid for the both. But, dont know if fergie'll consider it wise investment and cant tell if Spurs will take the money.

    we don't need another winger, central midfield should be a priority, and maybe an extra defender, We have great options on the wings, Nani, Valencia, Young

    I would have agreed with this last season before we brought Young but that ship has sailed, and if people say oh hazard blah blah blah difference is he can play behind striker or on the right and whens Rooney injured/unavailable hazard i feel could be that influence

    can you imagine how many goals hernandez will score with bale in the team the crosses bale whips in to the box every game for a gambling strker like hernandez would mean tap in after tap in for our tap in king gareth bale is if you ask me the best lw in the world is pace and footballing ability is world class and his crosses are pin point he is a ultimate machine and to think how good he could be for us is pretty damn scary bale and valencia as our wingers means world domination

    Agreed but he is one hell of a winger! if there was a glimmer of hope to sign Modric and Bale for £70 - 80m I'd do it. We have the wonga apparantly

    spurs even consider him more expensive than modric.no point blowung our whole budget on a position that is not the priority.

    Totally agree its about time the left wing got addressed properly with a left footed player, instead of playing a right footed player on the left who can only have limited success,it would be great to see Bale on the left wing for utd taking right backs to the cleaners every game,but a fee that would involve a transfer of Bale would be astronomical,could be anything in the region of 55m to 70m,couldn't see utd paying that
