    Re: Ipswich go for Kuszczak

Well yeh my mistake there. Slipped my mind he will go for free.

Eitherway he will leave a space in our squad so that does provide some discussion regarding players who leave or will be sold, players having to be counted on the 25 man squad and then how many gaps left for new signings.

I would agree to some extent that Berba is guranteed and Kus will leave.

How is Kuszczak's departure going to free up a spot in the 25 man squad? Yes, he was named in the squad back in February but since then he's been on loan. Ben Amos wasn't named in the squad but has now taken up Lindegaard's position on the bench. Seems to me that Amos slips into Kusz's spot and we'll still have 25 players, 3 of them keepers.

Cheers Diwan. Any mistakes I make, I usually like to admit it.. Mainly because while posting I have jumped the gun or wrote it down and not realised it. lol.

Yeh Berba most likely will go, It all depends if he does a uturn. I know Fergie has stated he will offer a new contract but still stated there is a big big chance that he will leave. There have been comments from both sides with it looking likely. Shame really but tbh Berba deserves first team football and Fergie has stated he doesnt fit his future plans. Its just one of those things really

I will agree with that, Kus in a way was a tad disrespectful, but he is on our books, although that is the only thing which says he is a United player. haha.

haha so true mate.. so who do you think we'd buy, leave Clyne a side because that's the easiest buy you can make, the compensation fee is usually from 300-500 thousand so its pretty much nothing. LB? DM? CM(Play maker)? Winger/Attacking Midfielder? Who do you think we'll buy and who do you want us to buy? :P big difference :P

even though Berba hasn't played a lot this season but SAF will make sure he rewards him for the years he served us with a EPL medal.. I'm not sure if he needs anymore appearances to get a league medal hopefully when we make it 20 but if he did then the gaffer will makes sure he gets one

stating that you made a mistake is a true gentleman's move, all class mate ;) but Ill tell you why berba is leaving.. his agent (isn't one of those idiotic agents who blasts around and everything, he was actually very understanding) said that he met with SAF and the gaffer told him that hes trying to play football at a fast pace that's why hes not been included a lot this season, and his agent said that they came to terms that he needs to play regular football and its better for him to leave and they both agreed, its quoted btw.. if you wanted me to get you the link just tell me.. I like berba but hes a lazy bum :P and I don't acknowledge that Kuzc is our player anymore because a while back he said that SAF was treating him like a slave, and I don't respect players who talk BS about their team while their still there

I don't really care about Kusz.. he's been on loan for this part of the season and were obviously selling him in the summer so not really an important topic to discuss :S
Surely it should still be an important topic as he is one of our players still at the moment and well if he does get sold then that provides a space within the 25 man squad.
If he gets sold? hes been out of the mix for a whole year.. we have 2 first team keepers and amos.. plus the only reason we loaned him is because he wanted to boost his chances of playing in Euro so SAF loaned him.. and we were going to sell him last summer but he couldn't find a team where he would get regular first team football.. Him and Berba are both guaranteed sales

Kuz contract expire this summer which means he can't be sold, he will simply walk out for free. I think Fergi was trying to offload him last summer as clearly he is never part of the 2012 squad. So may be we can't find suitable buyer or Kuz wants to sit through his contract.

Hope Ipswich have a decent set up for slaves. Can't care less where he's going if I'm honest, burned too many bridges with his interviews.
It cant be easy being a #2 (or 3) goalkeeper, especially one who thinks they are better than they actually are.

He knew his time was up and spoke out of turn on a couple of occasions, probably out of fustration. But in honesty, he was never going to be our #1 GK.

There's being fustrated, and there's acting like a complete and utter tw*t. Berba started 9 games this season, and came on as a sub in 7 others, while in most games he wasn't even a sub. You don't hear him crying like a little girl about being treated like a bloody slave. As you said, never was good enough to be our first choice, and the fact only Championship clubs are interested now says all there is to say.

Since his contract is set to end in the summer, no he won't. He's not going to be part of this team again.

I hope he goes there and gains first team football which is what he deserves. He is in no way a bad goalkeeper but he isnt good enough to make it here which is a shame. He obviously isnt happy with being 2nd or 3rd choice so i wish him the best as its more or less a certainty that he will leave in the summer.
    This well said.
