I'd have hoped it was Allen he was watching. I'd replace him for Faterson any day
Probably checking out Swansea as we play them Sunday.

Haha agreed. But I reckon he said he's staying put in the summer.
No sign of him at OT, apparently caught drink driving in Brazil, hes gone. Shame, his games with Cleverley at the start of the season gave a dynamism that United hadn't seen in the middle for years.
What is the point in life if you don't at least try to do something remarkable?

Fair enough about the other post, we both misunderstood mate. Kagawa seems likely, but I'm not sure which position exactly would he fill, fantastic player though. I'm hopping we will get a DM, though not sure who exactly, but Martn Ferguson attending a Swansea game might suggest Sigurdsson is a target.
SAF always seems to find positions for player when he wants to fit them in the squad, for ex. Ando was a offensive midfielder and the first year he came he played him as a holding player, Giggs lost his pace and got converted to a CM.. so i'm pretty sure we can fit Kagawa in and since his contract expires in one year so he'll cost a maximum of 12 million, and I hope we get Hazard as well.. not too sure how both would fit again but I hope we do. The DM slot, I know most people want Martinez but his buyout clause is 32 million so I don't see us paying that much for a DM.. and with Sigurdsson, he's impressive but will he be able to step us his game if we comes to OT? that's a question which I don't know the answer to
Wait. Are you guys suggesting that Siggurdson is a DM? Because he really isn't
Not at all what him, or I, said. That said, if Andò can play as one hahah***

Re: can hazard play in the middle ?

TBH I don't think it matters whether he can or not. he won't be playing in the middle of our formation that's for sure. As well as all the usual background stuff like family life, extra curricular activities etc, SAF two main criteria when looking for new additions to our squad are, Firstly you have to hate losing, and secondly, you have to want to play for Utd. It's been no secret that Mr Hazard has been having conversations with his compatriate Vincent Kompany, about joining City in the summer, add to that the glowing praises that Mancini has heaped on him recently, even going as far to say that he could do wonderful things for City's midfield. i fear that just like Samir Nasri, City will come in with a bid that will blow us out of the water. The only way he comes here is if he is a Man Utd supporter, and that my friends, unfortunately, he is not. As good as he is, we will just have to accept that he will be City bound. in the end their strength will in turn only make us stronger, and tbh I'd rather have someone who want's to play for Utd, rather than someone who will come here get a big reputation, and then leave us for more money elsewhere. Just my two pennies worth guys.

I hope so. He'd be awesome between the wingers we have and behind Rooney, Chica and Welbeck. I hope we get him and/or Kagawa.

Mancrh.. which players do you think we'd actually get, never mind the fullback slots, defenders and possibly strikers, what midfielders do you think well get? Positions available: CM, DM, AM, Playmaker, Winger

Of course, don't get me wrong I love the idea of signing Kagawa. No real need for both Kagawa and Hazard. save the money for a quality DM and a left back, maybe another CM as back but that's it. I would love to see a three man midfield of a DM, Cleverley and Kagawa and a front three of Nani, Rooney and Welbeck. Quick one touch football all the way. As for Sigurdsson, I trust the gaffer to know if he can step up, he's a good player even though I rather Kovacic.

Re: can hazard play in the middle ?

The main problem with some people is the basic inability to comprehend a good passer and someone that is good at passing to the right person at the right time. Hazard is the former. Another asset which Hazard lacks is the ability to be the player others pivot off off. Xavi, Modric, Scholes are all little players who can play in the centre because they possess these traits. Hazard would be wasted in midfield.
