for a start, you are forgetting about Macheda...but more to the point, i have to disagree here...
its been proven you need 4 top strikers to compete on all levels.
while young can backup as a supporting striker, he is no out and out striker.

whats more important is that we lack a big strong striking threat, something that is different to what we have to offer.
we havent had a threat like this since RVN

id like it if we were to go after a striker in the Llorente mould (assuming we do let go of the excess strikers, financing this should not be too difficult)

We have about 10 wingers at the club and not 1 striker that can head the ball. I say we buy Crouchy, Heskey or Zigic

We should go for Hulk, Hazard and Strootman then in a few years with the twins at the back we'd almost have a team of superheroes. I think we do need a striker, Llorente would be class, but midfield definitely first.

Ashley young aint no striker pure and simple. We should revert to the barce method and start bring back our more talented youngsters than just couldnt get into the team at the time. which brings me onto the striker why look anywhere else than rossi the guy is quality and would fit nicely into the utd team

Or indeed the next Alfonso Alves....buying strikers from Holland for big money is a real gamble....luckily for us RVN was an exception!
