I'm with "mancrh" on this one.... Valencia is not suitable for that position... If you play 4-3-3 the wingers have to really be more like forwards..... Take Barca for example, they play a 4-3-3 formation, do they have a winger like Valencia ? No.. They have players like David Villa.... Do you see what I mean ?

Valencia could play in that formation, but I wouldn't recommend it......

We indeed need new blood, but you don't buy just for the sake of it. You buy what you need and who you can accomodate without causing problems in the squad. Fair enough if w move to 433 then both will be good, but where would Valencia play? He's certainly not an attacker so not in the front 3.

Cabaye has been awesome this year, what a purchase for Newcastle. If we do go for him, it's certainly been under the radar....very typical of a United buy. Can I see it happening? Not really but certainly wouldn't complain in seeing him here at all. Would more than likely be a steal of a price.

The quality is not there did you not see any of the game on Monday night or the way we were knocked out of Europe and both domestic cup competitions. Our midfield is the poorest we have had in the last number of years, Giggs and Scholes are ledgends but need to retire and we need at least two midfielders, my choice would be martinez(who would cost about £40 which is way too expensive) dont think he will leave Spain anyway, my preferd choice would be Sneijder and Flenani frorm Everton. We also need a centre forward as Berbatov and Owen are likely to go Higuean from Madrid would be my choice. Also a left back may be required also as Evra is very poor and has cost us points this season and last. Our squad needs a major overhaul including our subs bench as we have no strenght in depth. All this is going to cost a lot of money but we are going to be left behind if we do not bring in quality this summer

For me it has to be one or the other and focus on a Martinez kind of signing. Would be great to boast the two of them sure, but it's not entirely logical. Can't see any of Nani, Young or Valencia leaving us any time soon.

thats all we need whether it be 1 or 2 of them.. We have enough attacking players to get us goals in Rooney, Nani, Chica, Young... Bring in 1-2 box to box central midfielders who can control the game and we will win the title next year. Arsenal are 17 points behind us, city have splashed 500m whilst in the same period we have spent 100m. The quality is here in united but it just a TINY TINY bit short.
