I have never knocked SAF on here and slate people who do, but I was astounded by his line up against City. Scholes...Park....and Giggs all playing, but it was the omission of Valencia that really shocked me.
This might be controversial, but for the good of the club, should Scholes and Giggs retire? I know they can't, skill for skill, heart and dedication, be replaced, but there surely has to be an alternative out there.
Is it really lack of funds that has stopped us buying? I know full well about this fabled £120 (been told enough) million we have to spend, but what is the real reason that there have been no midfield replacements?
As you might have guessed... I still wear green and gold. I have seen all the facts and figures...heard all the arguments, but our refusal to spend (for me) means only one thing.
