some rumours are that villa could be on our list
Why would Villa leave Barca and come here?
He was benchend in Barca by Guardialo and I think he had a feud with Messi. It is a option to get him if the new coach does not like him

After seeing falcao this season in the europa league he looks like he would be a good signing dunno how old he is tho , and Man Utd won't be the only team after him, would cost a fortune i reckon

Re: Berbatov and Owen out.......another striker in?

Even if Berba and Owen leave, I dont think so we need a striker as much as we need an attacking central midfielder. Even if we do go for a striker we cant afford the likes of llorente higuain or cavani right now if were looking to sign 2-3 players this summer. If the 100 mil euro rumour holds true then we can look forward to signing a quality CF of that sorts .. orelse a 50 mil raid on dortmund sounds more reasonable with the striker included Worst case scenario, we need to get macheda back into first team ... he almost has the finishing skills of berba and has the speed and honestly he can compete wid the likes of welbeck and chica.

Will Keane needs a season in the championship. Welbeck and Chicarito are good options to Rooney, we don't need another striker. Three strikers is more than enough, the team should focus on signing attacking midfields instead of strikers, guys who can play off our strikers, in the hole, on the wings... Dempsey is a great option.

Has to be a goal poacher. I'm thining Nilmar from Villareal, seeing as they have just been relegated, he will be sure to leave. if not, just promote macheda to a first team role

Giuseppe Rossi return would be nice, with Villereal being relegated and all. Would be a shame to see Berba go, it makes me sick how some fans treat him 12 appearances and 7 goals in the league yet you still hate the man?

We do need a big bully up front honestly. An accomplished striker to give Hernandez and Welbeck sometime to grow up. Llorente and falcao do fit the bill but will command serious money either in transfer fee or in wages. in my opinion, Huntelaar is not far off or holy smokes should RVP decide to look elsewhere I say we capture him.

i know most of u will disagree with me but i would go for jordan rhodes now i know he play's in league one but 38 goals for a 22 year old lad is impressive what ever league u play in

I'd Agree That Both Are Heading For The Exit Door... In Terms Of Replacing Them, If We Look At Big Names Then Llorente, Gomez & Cavani Would Be Brilliant. However What About A Consideration To Luuk De Jong From FC TWENTE (Realistic)???

    And Solskj?r Has Done It!:
With Owen's contract up and him seemingly headed out the door, and with Berbasloth also probably heading for the exit, I wonder if Fergie is planning on bringing in another experienced striker? If they both go, then Rooney at 27 willl be our most experienced frontman, and I think he would need another established and experienced striker to take the strain and pressure off him. Who could that player be? Llorente? Higuain? Kevin Davies? Thoughts on a postcard...
Kevin Davies?!!! How can u do a list that goes llorente, higuain ....Kevin Davies? It's like sayin what car do u want ferrari, Porsche......lada riva?! But yes we do need a striker and we will get one.

I think berbatov owen and macheda will be heading out this summer and to be honest I can't think of any top striker who would be available maybe huntelaar if eto was 3 or 4 years younger I'd go for him and if we sign a youngster I wouldn't mind bas dost

he scored those 20 goals for half a season actually as he was benched in January. So you expect someone to score 40 for half season and 80 totally? Are you ok?
    tommy swayze:
there is a reason for him playing so little its because he misses so many chances he got 20 goals last season but he should ov scored nearer 40 with the chances he had i like what he does but you cant rely on him at least hernandez an wellbeck are young an learning

Now HE would be some signing!! We desperately need that clinical spark in the box, he is well up there with the best when it comes to that. Cant see it happening though.
