No mate we're only signing this Kagawa because he's cheap. It's not as if he was Dortmund's best player this season, or that he has an excellent goals and assists record in one of the toughest league's, or that all the top clubs are after him. No we just want him because he's cheap (sigh)

Brttain, come on that's a bit of a low blow in terms of down-rating him, according to Soccernet (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/player/_/id/102139/shinji-kagawa?cc=4716) he has 17 goals and 10 assists this season

I think he's performances for Dortmund over the past season is reason enough for any top club to seriously look at obtaining his services. So in short - i dont think we're signing him just because he's cheap. He's a top talent who's voiced his ambition in wanting to play for us. GGMU

No I had it all along, that is why I have been laughing at this thread from the very start. So you agree the thread is not about Kagawa, but just another thread saying we have no money and therefore not at all original. In fact it has nothing to do with Kagawa and is in fact NOT asking anything that has not been asked before. I pity you that you think nobody understood this thread, in fact everyone understood it, it was just another whine about wanting more money spent on big name players, like a bunch of us said to begin with. Nice try though.

If you watch Kagawa play he has a great first touch, amazing vision, and doesn't get bullied off of the ball along with great pace. With him in the midfielder he will open up defenses, making those amazing passes to Rooney. Just because he isn't going to cost much doesn't mean he isn't going to be worth it.

This is what this forum is all about. People get so worked up all the time and jump to conclusions. No one actually addressed what i said. I was not trying to have a discussion about the quality of the player. My question was if we would still be after him this summer if his contract wasnt running out and if he wasnt so cheap.......................

All you had to answer was, 'yes we would still be after him if he would cost us £25m+'
