Never change Matt mate. You keep speaking as you find, because much as there'll be plenty of people on here waiting with barrels loaded, you'll also find theres plenty of others on here (myself included) who think your 100% dead on ba11s accurate with your opinions. Unfortunately as someone else mentioned above, the glazers have taken the soul out of our fanbase these last few years. Too many sitting on the fence, happy to ignore those scary figures so long as a nice shiny new trophy goes into the trophy cabinet each year. What some people may not realise, and probably did not get when they read your "die glazer" rant, was that for local lads such as myself (and i gather yourself too) united is just too damned important to us. Maybe for those sitting hundreds of miles away, who see us keep winning the trophies, and who keep hearing "the debt is manageable" they just dont understand whats its like for other die hard reds. Not that ive got anything against non local reds, far from it, im just trying to get it into people heads that maybe people should look at things from Matts points of view, and actually see where hes coming from, rather than selective reading the bits you dont agree with and attacking him with them.
you are right i for one could not care less what happen's to the glazer's not one bit all they done to us is brought us down by greed i care about the club have done since i was a wee lad and it sickens me to see how and what these sc-m are doing to it they are not what some think they are cant see though their dark colured glasses what they are what they stand for and its not for Manchester United its what they can get out off it.

Fair enough. Sometimes I get the feeling you are trying to increase awareness of the financial mess behind the Glazers and hoping to get more people onto your wavelength. That is not dissimilar to running for election.

Then again, this is just a discussion forum and I guess most if our opinions are swallowed, digested and forgotten in minutes 

I put the information out there, explain wht i feel like i do, but the people make up their own mind, id rather they made this up than be manipulated by myself in the way a politician manipulates people

Matt, I flagged you on the appropriateness of the conversation taking place on that thread because I felt it was going down a tasteless road. No doubt someone reported some of the comments made because the overall thread was full of nasty posts, mostly far worse than anything you've had to say.

My advice is to keep serious comments (yours) away from threads that are filled with rubbish because it could jeopardise your credibility. I'm not one for reporting posts but I think its good for everyone involved that that thread has been deleted (if it has).

Im not running for an election, i genuinely will be happy when he dies and if that makes me a bad person so be it, one thing ive always been on here is myself. Why treat anyone of you any differently than i do mates in the pub by hiding the fact i was dissapointed to learn he had not died last night.

If you have a problem with the forum or the mods mancunian_matt then do the decent thing and fck off to another forum. Your constant whining and b!tching is getting tedious now. The Red Issue forum would suit you down to the ground.
Nah ur alright fella, and if u dnt like my posts ur welcome to follow ur own advice.

    obviously crosses the line

No. They will allow some anti- glazer comments, as profitable speech. They will censor most, like me hoping he dies and posting protest meeting information, tis all about the money!

redmancs got it spot on, just to add we are not all the same as fans. Some have been effected immensely by this takeover, most of our global fanbase have not been. They dnt feel the effect of price rises on tickets do they? Not like glazers increasing the tv sports package price. Now if there is an onpitch decline u look at the sudden change globally.

The problem is too many people think the anti Glazer campiagn is all about the fact they are not spending 100 million every summer. It's not!
This. I get annoyed when people talk about the Glazers and forget about the core problems, instead focusing on such stupid issues as big-money, star-studded transfers.

The problem is too many people think the anti Glazer campiagn is all about the fact they are not spending 100 million every summer. It's not! It's about the fact ticket prices have gone up, season tickets which have been in families for 40+ years have gone, fans who would sing for 90 minutes win lose or draw have been replaced by people who sit down, shut up and clap along to glory glory man united at full time. The Glazers and Gill have got what they want. Fans are now customers, we don't have a right to moan, we should just shut up and enjoy the product. It's never going to change football is ***. FC have got it spot on, fans are at the center of everything.

    mancunian_matt84:

They don't ban you for your views, they ban you for breaking ground terms and conditions so as to justify it

    Well how dare they!
    mancunian_matt84:

Have i done enough to be banned, obviously not but my card will no doubt be marked on here, matter of time? or do they realise I've not used a fake email to roll onto another one, and that i wouldn't take a ban lying down unless they could reasonably justify it?

Well the ability to quickly create a new account has never stopped them from banning people who break the rules before, so I doubt if they felt you had done enough to be banned that it would stop them.

Bottomline the thread that got deleted, well it was very reasonable that they did so, and as we all knwo you can be quite critical of the Glazers on this forum as it happens quite often.

Why because I admitted I would be celebrating glazers death? That people who criticised that view but acknowledged its okay for people to celebrate gadaffis death were reminded of the hypocrisy in it? Or just because he hasn't died

I don't mind if its because of the latter, but because The club moved to officially deny glazer had died hours before that thread was actually removed, and it was only in response to reports against my views about glazer party's etc that it was then removed.......suggests it was this that caused its removal not the inaccuracy of the post.

End of the day this obviously crosses the line and isn't classed by them as profitable speech. After all they get paid to maintain a forum, united use the forum to promote the business interests of the club and get paid themselves

Remember banning anyone from talking about glazers on here isn't beneficial because of the stink it would cause, but censoring how far that goes makes sense

Did those people dangling down a flag from tier 2 of the stretford end get banned because they broke a term and condition or did they get banned because of the possible financial hit the club would take if the movement gathered pace? Sponsers, don't like that type of attention do they

The soul has been sucked out of our fanbase.

It's overshadowed and censored redmancunian but still prevalent but in the minority, and right now it can be because there is just another sheep waiting to take your place

Many are in a state of rebelliousness and as King Eric said "close to rebelliousness" and many are and although i don't want it to happen if there is a decline on the pitch hopefully there are enough of these people to force a change
