I'm a fan of Tiote but yeah Ferguson already said he wasn't buying a holding midfielder. Would be a great buy if he changed his mind though, he was class for Newcastle this season.

Cant see us signing Tiote, or any other DM/holding midfielder, since SAF has already said that himself....unless he suddenly changes his mind. Can see us going for another AM/creative CM.
True but im just looking at the fact that Ando looks like he has played his last game, Fletcher is not guaranteed to return and Carrick and Cleverely are not Combative midfielders we need steel as well as skill in the centre at least then the team is balanced.
fergie said himself a few weeks ago that he wouldn't be signing a DM "I don’t think we’ve had a holding player since I’ve been here. We’ve never had a holding player." so Titoe won't be coming If we could just get Kagawa,Baines,Powell and someone like Martinez then that would be great although i can't see that happening it will be more along the lines of probably Kagawa,Powell and maybe another young player Clyne maybe
SAF TRUE LEGEND AND WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

Re: Players in IMO Kagawa, Powell, Tiote and Clyne

Clyne is a right back, but I agree he is Man Utd quality, he's young, he's cheap, he's a model professional, has plenty of pace, definitley a case for future England right back in Clyne. He'd be a good signing, and give us good options at right back with Rafa, Jones and Smalls. Kagawa is a fantastic signing, he will walk straight into my fantast football team, he will allow us to play a 4.2.3.1 or a 4.3.3, and can slot behind the striker or on either wing, I predict he will light up Old Trafford, he has fantastic work rate, skill, technique, speed, passing ability, he can score, he can create, he will make Hazard look like a chump. Tiote I also agree will be a good signing for us, but I don't see it happening. The Toon are very clever, they'd want £15 million at least for Tiote, a bit expensive for us maybe, also he's African, and I'm never comfortable with the fact these guys go off for the African Cup every two years, it's not ideal really, fantastic player though. Powell also would be a top signing, but he'd probably need to be loaned out for a year or two before he's ready to slog it out in the Utd team, excellent potential and a must signing. Finally, you didn't mention him, but Baines is the man we need for left back.

Players in IMO Kagawa, Powell, Tiote and Clyne

I think the players that will realistically be heading our way will be the above players. I never really saw Hazard signing for us and I was surprised SAF continued with it when Hazard started acting very arrogent. I think the above players will add steel, creativity and importantly create squad depth. Goalscoring midefielder Kagawa got 14 goals and 12 assists last year granted in the budesliga but I think he can be quality as for the rest well Clyne would be an awesome LB very Evra esq in his early United days and Tiote would add steel and a combative presence to break up the opponents play and start the counter. Thoughts??????
