I am not so sure about that. Like I stated before in the past, I believe Mancini is more focused on an...erh...defensive minded central midfielder like Javi Martinez or M'Villa. In order to progress Yaya Toure into a more advance role. There will be little movement by...erh... Manchester City in the attacking aspect of the window, as I believe they will be more focus on a defensive midfielder and a central defender. But, I am not some sort of football agent, just incredible knowledgeable :).
I used to get frustrated by your posts but now they truly make me laugh! Truly funny poster you are!

Watch this space, Modric will be playing for City very soon. We are apparently going to launch a bid for him, so you can bet City will do the same. At City, they have next to no weaknesses, but looking at their team, you can see they have room for a playmaking central midfielder, and with Modric being that playmaker, plus very versatile and able to adapt to different positions quite easily, you can bet City will be interested. They can have Barry or De Jong as holding mids, Yaya controlling the midfield by himself and then Luka as playmaker, or they can play either Luka or Yaya as an attacking centre, they could even play Yaya and Luka as the central midfielders, with Tevez, Aguero, Silva and Nasri up top, Modric gives them so many options, he's ideal for them. At Utd, Modric would be fantastic, in a two man midfield next to Carrick, Jones, maybe Cleverley??? I debate whether or not he has the defensive ability needed to play next to Modric, maybe he does, could Modrid even play alongside Scholes? who knows. I still think we seriously need a holding/ strong/ powerful centre mid, but nevermind.
so their team would be like this:

    Hart

    zabaleta kompany lescott clichy

    Barry

    Modric Yaya

    Nasri Silva Tevez

    Aguero

Is it just me or is that 12 players???

Makes sense. Everyone fully creams over attacking mids and wingers saying that City and Chelsea will leave us behind in the market with all their world class players. Truth is they always forget about players like Mikel and Barry who week by week make it into these supposedly world class teams despite the wealth of attacking mids, wingers and strikers on the bench.
