Even without Macheda coming back (which is unlikely) we have Rooney, Kagawa, Hernandez and Welbeck all competing for two spots (using and am removes either a striker or wingers [we are almost certain not going to drop our wingers])

I can't see how we could fit in a top striker with all these players already.

Kagawa did an interview calling Lewandowski selfish and saying he should shoot less.

Don't want him. Would rather we get Modric or another quality central midfielder. I expect us to play a lot of 4-2-3-1, with Kagawa playing behind Rooney, so I can't see the use of another striker. I forsee us playing a more fluid front four, with them moving around and changing position.

Unless this guy is really special and I am talking Torres special (when he was at pool and actually good) or a Drogba clone, I'd rather not see another striker at Utd.

One thing we know for certain is that there is interest make no mistake about that. The fact of the matter is Lewandowski had the chance to put all these rumours to bed but instead he remained quiet/dodged the question regarding a move to United. Only time will tell if does arrive but for certain we are interested in him.

Chelsea will not sell torres especially now drogba has left, plus united would not offer enough for them to sell. Considering he cost 50mil id expect them to at very least want 30-40mil otherwise its major loss on the fee. Nice idea but will never happen, united should have gone all out to get him before he joined the scousers im afraid!

Macheda is nowhere near ready for first team action, Chicharito (why do people call him chica? He's not a girl!), isn't world class along with Welbeck who's still learning anyway, and no way will Henriquez be starting; he'll most likely be loaned out. That's why Lewandowski could come.

Yet all those decent players are backup to Kagawa and Rooney who are top class, who out of them and Lewandowski would you put on the bench?
