He did well in the first half... inteligently dropped deep to egt away from Whelan/Andrews turned and then ran at them, which caused a lot of issues. In the second half the Irish dealt with that better. Modric showed some good touches but I wouldn't say he really dictated the game.

Croatia will struggle a lot against Italy and Spain... their midfield has very little structure and will just have the ball played around them.

lol true. Once City or Chelsea becomes ..erh..interested, it will be almost impossible to get him. Eitherway, so far he is playing great. I do not believe he has made a single bad pass so far.
