I would not really expect too much additional movement until after the tournement is completely over.

to be honest much as i enjoyed his passing and vision i was apealled with his work rate in the last 20 min. he wasnt running any more neither in attack nor defence. he was staying right in the middle. it was a game that meant they were going out, and that much little of will at the end was something i dont want to see in a united player. i dont think we need him,(yes his passing game is great to have) but to what price 30 mill and a player who in the last 20 dont wont to run. trust me i had my eyes only on him the whole game, it was shamless how little he did in the last 20 min ball was going forward and he would just stay there, and than ball would go back and he would still stay there in middle. it would be a waste of 30 mill and we dont have that much to spend like city... so we have to make sure to get the right signing. there are better players for that money!
totally agree mate modric does have a tendency to go missing for large periods of big games
Yes, that'd be my worry; that he would go missing in big games. We don't need to spend a good £30m on a player who goes missing, we need to pay £30m for a player who will play with quality week in week out and do more for the team. However Modric went missing last night (im guessing, I didn't see the game) that he had given up? Thats a good enough reason, and I wouldn't hesitate over such a class like Modric for this alone.
    So wrong!

Modric go missing? He was brilliant yesterday for Croatia he kept the team in it right to the end..at International level..against World Cup holders Spain..! If thats go missing then what the hell are you guys expecting from players? So Modric didnt do much in the last 20min,maybe he was tired? Its hot down there, playing against Spain is very hard, alot of running.

I totally agree.I think Croatia played very well especially Modric who i thought was brilliant. He out shined Xavi and Iniesta in my opinion.Hes a great passer he would be a great signing for us and would fit in very well here.I wouldnt pay more then 30million though and with Real after him along with Chelsea i think we need to act fast. With Spurs not in the Champions league next season and with Harry leaving i think Modric will end up leaving.Im sure he would love a move to us.

Now is the time to sign Modric. His country are out of the Euros.Modric would be a top top signing for us.He had a brilliant game last night and i think he did well for Croatia at the Euros.I wouldnt pay no more then 30million for him though.I do think Modric would slot perfectly into our midfield. He is gifted a great little player.

I totally agree with you.. It's impossible united can make the transfer for modric. Plus fergie want to sign the player for cheap. Make me laugh, if you don't have money never dream to sign world class player.. It' 21st century already.. wakeup fergie!

Dont get your hopes up LEVY WILL NOT SELL TO US after the messy Carrick and berbatov transfers, so likely he will be off to Madrid the only hope we have is if City let David Silva go to madrid as he there first choice which is highly unlikely too

all depends on the teams now who want him how quick they are to agreeing a fee with his club before anything.
Can we realistically expect to see anything before they have a manager in place??

Probably, if it's players leaving Spurs as Levy does all the deals anyway, but it's looking like Modric is Madrid bound.

Sure he is,he want to join a club who have the best players, who woudent do that.... again i have to say its shame a club like ours go to get money for our best players,if ronaldo and others would still be here, then we could attract way better players.
Must just be me then who considers Rooney, Kagawa, Vidic, Nani, Young all to be world class. The list goes on. With promising lads like Welbeck who has done fantastic and earned a lot of praise from his Euro performances, veterans like Paul Scholes who many consider the greatest midfielder to have ever played. The majority of our squad are full internationals or have potential to be in the not too distant future. You're making out like our squad is full of nobody's when in fact it's quite the opposite.
