I dont think we signed Prunier mate, sure he was just on trial and Fergie was forced to play him in a couple of games because of injuries/suspensions we had to other centre halfs. Apologies if i've got this wrong but sure it was the case.

for a guy who has posted soo many times on this forum.....ur seem to look like a 5 yr old posting nonsense ..... firstly u forgot rooney...ferdinand, vidic.... then you add players like obertan and bebe to the wrt signings list....there guys didnt even get proper run of games to proves themselves....put them on for 2 games...then vanished.....why not add tosic to that also....

how was his post like a 5 year old posting nonsense? its your post that was reminiscent of a toddler, whats wrong in him believing Ronaldo, Keane, Schmeichal etc were better than Ferdinand and Vidic, that's his opinion, they're all great great players, and the answer is based on price paid aswell, id agree with him that penny's for Schmeichal was better than the 30 mill for Rio. Also, Obertan didn't get time to prove himself? where have you been?, he was given chances time and time again and went missing everytime apart from in preseason, he flopped like a you know what.

veron and kleberson actually contributed to our season in various ways. veron was a star performer in our 2002 champions league campaign while kleberson at least did a job at a time when our midfield consisted of likes of alan smith and liam miller. Bebe is by far and away the worst signing. can some one tell me if there is another player who cost a club 7 million quid and not make a single league start before being move off elsewhere? or are there still bebe faithfuls around?

Juventus, 1999, in Turin, without Keane in the team that day we would have never went on to win the CL. Whilst the King was the catalyst to United domination, when he reitred, Keane picked up were he left off, albeit not in the same way, Cantona = genius, Keane = Inspirational leader.

The most successful captain in United's history deserves the same recognition as United's other greats, just because you hate him, doesn't mean he didn't leave his mark in the same way as others.

IMO Veron was a flop because he came to United as the best midfielder in the world and never really showed that form with us, he had moments of brilliance but they were few and far between.. A great player but the English game didn't seem to suit him for some reason..

There are 2 reasons i have Ronaldo and Keane ahead of Cantona and the are 1, Keane and Ronaldo played huge roles in Uniteds 2 champions league wins, i know keane was suspended for the final but without him we wouldn't have been there and 2, I am 23 years old so when Cantona was at his peak for United at around 1995/96/97 i was very young so i cant really remember him playing much, i know he was brilliant but I had Ronaldo and Keane ahead of him because i seen them play a lot more.

Haha yes i knew somebody would ask me this and the answer is because i couldn't chose which 5 i thought were best out of Cantona,Ronaldo, Keane,Rooney,solskjaer and Vidic. i didnt wanna leave any of them of so i just but the 6 of them in instead..
