No, he was not, he had plenty of other chances. He can play football.

He can play football, but I think he needs a hell of a lot of work, maybe a few reserve game because I can not see him playing a HUGE part of next season even though Fergie said he will.

Chicha playing in a few reserves games is not going to happen.

Chicha playing ahead of Welbeck and possibly Van Persie is a horrible thought. He needs experience but he looks to much of a risk for us to play him regularly. Plus there is no way he will go on loan.

That's why I said possibly. If Chicharito doesn;t need experience then he isn't cut out for United, he isn;t that great of a player, good squad player, that's it IMO.

Rooney is that type of player, a great player all around. The reason he was a bit in the shadows last season was because there was no one to assist him and unleash his potential. Cleverley and Ando were injured, while Carrick played a bit too defensively. But this season is different, we have Cleverley & Ando back and in full fitness, plus Kagawa, the perfect player to play alongside Rooney !

I agree. But, even tho we mght not enjoy possession like spain and barca. We have our own qualities such as width, we arent afraid to cross the ball in and we play at a higher tempo whch is very diffcult to defend against. What we need to work on is our style of defending. We have over zealous full backs who dont get back in time, We seem to have some players who push up and press the opposition and then there are others who dont. We need structure

No we didnt kagawa remained on midfield. It was a 433 100% sure. Might say 4231 but sice both clev and ando arent that defensive its a 433

No, it was not a 433, it was a 442.

It was 4-4-1-1, with the midfield of 4 Giggs- Ando-Tom-Nani. Kagwa took the free role behind Rooney which means he can move wherever to make the best out of his abilty.

4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1 are the same formation.

Not that same if you look at Yorke-Cole vs now Kagawa-Rooney. Kagawa will drop deeper to help defending or passing the ball around midfield at times while Yorke- Cole simply did thing between themselves.

Love how you can excuse the fact just because it is pre-season. Our next game is Everton, wake up! If we play like this we are going to lose, no doubt.

Pre-season is about fitness and money from fans around the world. Nothing less, nothing more. I am delighted that Cleverley and Anderson look good and fit. That is the biggest take-away for me from the pre-season.

Apparently pre-season isn't about the players gaining back their match fitness. Its about having to win every meaningless game we play and assessing the team on the results in these meaningless games. Last summer Chelsea won everyone of their pre-season games comfortably but finished 6th in the league lol.

No, you don't why Hernandez was about to quit football? When Hernandez was with Chivas, he was not about to quit football because he couldn't score. It was because he didn't get a lot of playing time with Chivas until the 2009/2010 season when this was his last season with them.

I agree. Evra is 32 now so he will tire during games because of his tendancy to attack and need to track back. Gary Neville revealed that, because of his attacking style, teams constantly exploited his flank as he could not track back.This exact thing is currently happening to Evra. A LB is needed.

i was really impressed with the trio of anderson cleverly and kagawa in the second half they really worked hannover's midfield, also i can honestly see kagawa setting the premiership alight some of his vision and control tonight was brilliant much rather have him here than hazard or moura least we know we have a player thats proud to wear the red shirt

Evra was influential in our attacks at times .... he goes so high up the pitch that he sometimes gets caught on the counter!
