In 50 years time there will be 15 billion on the planet and far superior training methods. What is exceptionally impressive is that Scholes has managed to be at the forefront of world football for 15 years through 3-4 footballing generations.

Defenses are far far better now than back then, I doubt George Best would do as well vs the organized and better trained defenses of today.

twas the time when you virtually had to break someones leg for a yellow,overprotection has taken the physicallity out of the game now to a pathetic level..
