Re: ManUtd players from a female point of view " A New Signing"

    Caitlin_Wills:

Hello everyone! hope you are all ok. As i finished my GCSE'S in June i aimed to spend a lot of time posting on these boards. However i haven't been able to do that lately as the last couple of weeks have been very very tough for me and my family. Sadly my 3 year old cousin James Rhys Jones died suddenly of pneumonia on 3/7/09 and so it has devastated my whole family :( I am now starting to post on these boards again  to stay informed with all the latest news and in an attempt to keep my mind off things so hello again! R.I.P our gorgeous little angel James you will always remain in our hearts <3 x

    Caitlin Williams

    Caitline,

My deepest sympathies.  It's been very hard for your family and his, to bear the loss.  He looked very happy very cuddly and cute.  R.I.P. James.

Yes it is Martin Lawrance.  Thanks Barry, for reminding me his name. I watched Big Momma's House, too.  Sometimes, when we have so much to think, brain won't work as fast as we want.

    barrywho,

You are attempting to go places no man has yet reached YesSmile "The female mind! and what makes women tickBig Smile!" Something we girls know fully and a man "NEVER" will! I read your post with interest! Having seen a lot of US sportsmen one thing does stick in my memmory "David Robinson San Antonio basketball player!" Now this guy is so tall and yet his wife is a dinky little lady! Now he did not even strike me as having very much personality! Unless he is incredibly shy! Mind you being in the public eye I somehow doubt it! My son who was only a child when we met him entering a small hotel in the Caribbean for dinner. Our son a West Indian child approached him wishing him a good evening and shook his hand! I mentioned that it was our son's birthday and the guy did not even wish him a happy one!

OK basket ball player #2 Jay Payton we met him in an elevator in New York! again our little lad was awe struck! Politely he said Hi "Mr Payton" and the Wassock said "You have it wrong I am not Jay!" Now we had it on good authority that he was indeed, Jay Payton! So much for personality! Now I do agree that you cannot be a sportsman in the US without an impecable education! Butttt O yes, here it comes...I have met "So Called US Educated people" and to be honest if they are educated I should fly over and ask if I can have my degree! because as we say here they are as thick as "Fifty short planks!"

Now I have met many famous people "Oprah, Harry Bellafonte, Bill Cosby, Lionel Ritchie (I held his baby girl!) Roger Daltry, Naomi Cambell (And Naomi is a lovely person!) Etc,etc so I know that being rich and famous does not effect these people because they have a beautiful heart! i am saying this to say just because you are famous does not give you an attitude and our players are "Simply The Best!" p/s Love the actors and films you mention!

Re: ManUtd players from a female point of view " A New Signing"

WELL, from what I browsed thru here, too much actually, it looks like women are more into THE LOOK and its SENSUAL MEANING or the AURA that each LOOK protrudes and less so THE WALK. WHY? Is it bcuz of it's s.e..x.u..a.l connotations, OR?? OR simply WOMEN'S INTUITION?

I wonder ONLY IF anyone, after the look, gets to meet the man and talk, and STILL BE IN AWE? Or will such a meeting burst the ILLUSION? A lot of these players, when they talk, well.....Hate to say it!

In comparison, american professional athletes would be more into furthering the ILLUSION. First of all, most are university/college graduates, only way to enter pro sports there. Secondly, they are more into marketing, PR, know how to look, smile and talk for the public or news media, more into SOUND BITES or VIDEO BITES, it looks like they are campaigning for political office than entering professional sports.

BUT STILL, when one gets to know them more personally, the ILLUSION does not last and insteady REALITY appears when one can then say REALITY S. .U.C..K.S !!!

And so, the real question are IF the LOOK is enough, OR, the TALK will settle all? The MONEY settles all, actually, for most.

Yes, all so fascinating. Like why would one prefer vanilla ice cream over chocolate (which I love). OR why would one choose one mobile cellular phone model over another. It is again, the LOOK, the FEEL, or the FUNCTION (more men oriented here!)

What make a woman attracted to a man? The age-old question. ...

wathsala, I loved it when Evra was on that United TV with the LobstersSmile saying one was Rio, one was Ronaldo and one was Evra and as he was putting them (Live) into the oven telling them Bye, bye YesStick out tonguesee you later....I was creased laughing....he has a sweet humour! He is very cute and handsome and is not big headed!

I watched another vedio of Evra, screaming in high pitch.  It's also hillarious.  It really, reminded me the other actor who paired with Will Smith in Bad Boys.  Oh.. I am sorry his name doesn't come to my mind now.

Martin Lawrence is the other actor paired with Will Smith.

I watched him first on House Party, the movie series of Kid n Play, as Bilal, the DJ. A real character He then went on to star in a number of movies including Bad Boys as well as Blue Streak, Big Momma's House, National Security, etc

I would have thought Christopher Reid (Kid), who has a "Will Smith" look about him, would have been more successful. Apparently not!

    What about Evera?

Come to think of it maybe our defensive line has the most Hot Factor Wink what i love about Evra is that he's so calm and cool. And he's so skilfull! And i've noticed that he does like a puffing thing whenever he runs hehe.

I think he has a very steady upper body.  It is very ddifficult to do this puffing thing while you are running.  I mean in a game.  I know... some guys are doing this when they want to show off specially girls/ladies are around.  If you are a serious sportsman / sportwoman, puffing up can't be done.  I really know about this.  When I was doing athletics (long time ago in school), I remember for a while we had to train with boys' from some other school. (our coach had to go for maternity leave)  When boys were not doing well, their coach used to say "Don't puff-up your chest much, these girls know better".  This coach gave those boys a time to get the best out of them.
