it's a pity that danny simpson,cleverley and cathcart are all out on loan, or else we don't have this problems.

i don't trust eckersley at all , he's piece of *** when i see him play, i rather see ronaldo as right back than him.

I didn't know Rafael was injured. That is bad. But remember we found the value of Johnny Evans when we were in a similar position against Barca last season wasn't it? SAF will get it right again! I really hope so!

Mine Formation could be Like this, for Tuesday's Game against the Italin champions:

                                  Park               Fletcher            Giggs               Ronaldo

                                               Berbatov             Rooney

 REASONS:    

1.   Evra needs to stay in the Left Back, because he provides enough threat   going forward

2.   Carrick  needs to be in defence. He is tall, and can hold the giants-Adriano and Zlatan. He is quick and knows ENglish well.

3.    Fletcher shud start in midfield. He is hard, very brilliant, very big game performer and he is fresh

4.    Giggs needs to start ahead of scholes, because this guy is  just  the best. he will split Inter's midfield into  pieces.

5.     Park needs to start in the Wing ahead of Nani, because of his industry and controll of possession

I think O'shea will be fit for the game, if not we can use Evra and play Fabio at LB. Evra might be small but he's very strong and has a great leap. Another possible option would be Fletcher, I think SAF would first look at him before he decides to play Carrick at CB. Or... if we really want to take a gamble... we could put Gibson or Eckersley in there.

 

Gibson! he's in form, is mobile enough and tall enough, can pass tha ball out from the back. Has to be Gibson.

Wes Brown and Gary are not fully fit yet. Just a thought, if Evans and O'Shea can't make it, what if we use the formation below: VDS Rafael - Rio - Evra Fletcher - Carrick Park - Giggs/Scholes - Ronaldo Rooney - Berbatov Sub: Tevez (the fact that Rooney plays too well back from injury, so Tevez has to be on the bench), Giggs/Scholes (pending who plays), Nani, Gibson Chester (emergency as defender), Fabio, Foster/Kuzszhack Hopefully Fletcher and Carrick can close down the opponent's strikers before they reach the defenders, in times, can even switch to 5-3-2 mode in defense or 3-5-2 to control the midfield. From the half way line, Park/Ronaldo/Giggs/Rooney/Berbatov can take turns to attack and the opponent will have difficulties to close down 5 of them as they don't know who is attacking each time. And Giggs/Scholes (who ever play) can distribute balls for the wide man or strikers. Park and Rooney can track back also when defense as they are hard runners. All above hopefully can compensate the lost of 1 central defender.

what about wes brown???? is he still injured?? i would prefer wes pairing rio if he is fit..else may try out gary in that position (cb)

Are you seriously sugesting that Carrick is put in at centre half before a player who has played international football in that position.

I really wish people would get off O' Sheas back he never lets us down.

 If we have to play Fabio and Rafael at fullback i fear that we might get ripped apart. Rafael showed at the weekend that he is a suspect defender and Fabio is the same type of player.

If i was going to play anyone out of position i might pick Fletcher at RB at least he would have a good positional sence

The boss said either O'Shea or Evans will be fit comes Tuesday. At the moment it’s still doubtful for O'Shea. I don't really know who SAF will be playing alongside Ferdinand but as long as we doesn't concede any goals away from home thats the best result for me. A 1-1, 2-2 draw or even a win its a bonus for us.

there is some weak points in the left. sometimes, ronaldo will change position with giggs. so the left side and the right side will be balance. attacking form will start from ronaldo or j sung park.
