well i do agree with one person.where has this information come from?the newspapers.i hate the newspapers.they only want to include stuf like that so people can go and buy them, and fair play to them, its a business. even though on the occasion they can actually give REAL news. just because its blatenely obvious. they only said that because they know a few big clubs are after him, so its interesting to know about.

but with the actual situation. IF IT IS TRUE, then it would be a great player to sign. He is a more like rooney or tevez, but it stil doesn't deny the fact that we need another striker. even though i personally would prefer huntelaar as he is much more of a goal scorer.

i have to disagree with the person that had set out the team formation.how can you put ronaldo not in an attacking position? i would do this.had we get huntelaar or villa

i dont think is good for us to have many stars in the team...

we have manoutso gonsalves on loan to panathinaikos.

he is very good player!very strong and he can score with many ways! 

David Villa is a small, quick, agile striker like Rooney and Tevez, although Tevez isn't particularly quick. We need someone who is a tall goal poacher like Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who would come cheaper than Villa. Benzema would be my first choice but he has said he doesn't what to leave Lyon, if he did he would most likely go to La Liga or Serie A and his price tag is just too much, so he is out of the question. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is the way to go in my opinion.

villa would be a great player for united, with all the games that we play in a season tevez, rooney, and villa would be able to switch off and on

 huntleer would be a good player, but i don't know if he would do as will in the priemeir league, as he does in the dutch :S

he is a class player, see that volley he scored against Italy the other day, absolute class , tevez- rooney- villa up front sounds perfect to me but doesnt suit our style

There are some interesting posts on Forwards elsewhere with better strikers, better prospects, etc. But undoubtedly, if you are a Villa fan then now is YOUR time!

We scouted the Espanyol/Valencia game. (Kameni or Villa?) Valencia are atrocious (in spite of Villa's recent double sealing a shock win at the Bernabeu). Valencia's players have had friction with their new coach since he took over. Villa has had one eye on the door and this is the final push. He will now be affordable- well and truly.

I am not too sure about other known fans, but clearly Benitez is one. Whether Torres was his replacement I don't know. But if I only had Crouch, Kuyt and Babel to rely on I wouldn't ignore someone like Villa, who I was previously interested in when it seems like such a good time to snap him up. His winner against Italy will further bolster his momentum and cause.

For United though? No thanks. Gomez, Huntelaar and Berbatov are surely better options.

Look guys ne need a stiker who is comfortable playing up close and personal with defenders, who can score goals from the tightest acute angles and  can play as a lone stiker.

We need a hunter and who better than HUNTELAAR!

He has all thes qualities whereas Villa doesnt. Look how Villa played so far this season, if he scores a goal he goes quite for the rest of the match.

he Cant "kill a team off", he cant score a goal from nothing, like the hunter and Benzema. Otherwise he's team wont be in the position they are in.

Plus he's too expensive.

Huntelaar is the right choice. 

 

I think its a great chance for buying an excellent striker alyhough he's a bit costy, but imagine how strong our attack would be along with Ronaldo,Rooney, and tevez.... 

I hope that we could get him, a great player indeed. 

Thatz a gud news for SAF.coz he was missing the fire power up front especially in champions league....we already missed torres. thatz a real miss.! 20 in pleague with bac to bac hatricks in his first season???(remember the goal against intermilan ) wat more u want ...now that we had already missed him..we need villa.to an extend he is almost better than torres....buy him

nomatter how prolific was at his first seasons at valencia and his last at zaragoza he isn't the player we are lookin for.He is in a lenghty bad spell while i think he can cut it in epl but we do not need him anyway.I would prefer A Huntelaar type of player and in particular Klaas Jan.Villa is a better player and surely will be a biggest status que in our team but given the players we have the hunter may be the final jigsaw.If we hadn't got tevez i would be cheering for villa.I expect him to join Chelsea,i have this feeling.
