    Re: v Roma *Pre-match Discussion*

In all compotentions this year United score every 36 minutes with two forwards.  However, we score every 76 minutes with ONE FORWARD!

It gets even worse.  United allow a goal every 198 min with two forwards instead of every 123 minutes with one forward.

So Sir Alex wants to score few goals and allow more!

SAF make the right choice over Park instead of Giggs.

The reason is simple.  We only scored two goals against Roma with two forwards in 175 minutes.  You need to look at the bigger picture!

This is where we have to remain determined and mentally strong. Remember previous Champions League outcomes after 1999 - we went on a run and stumble towards the final hurdles. Same as in this year's FA cup run. We have to keep our heads and minds together over the final rounds - never be complacent. Roma is no walkover.

Unfortunately we have our most priced assert out for the rest of the season after colliding with Vida at training yesetrday at the Stadio Olimpico,

so our chances are very slim although we do have other cappable players but Ronie is one not to mis a game.

sorry United  this are sad news

                                                        Van Der Sar

    Brown                           Ferdinand                      Vidic                        Evra

                 Ronaldo                           Scholes                     Nani

                 Tevez                              Rooney                     Giggs

Roma won't be expecting an attacking formation + also if united need 2 go defensive then giggs can always drop back into midfield, where he can be given a free role so he can float around everywhere

Its been a long time since we won the UCL. I believe we can rise to the occasion this year. A draw would not be bad, as Roma showed against Real they are better this year.  Not many teams finish off a team in the first leg, but i think we are good enough for 0-2  win. Not sure about the team whether we play a 5 in midfield or 2 up front, either way im confident we can get a good result.
