Re: Man Utd supporters make me ashamed to be a Man Utd supporter

Finally, some sanity on this forum. I've supported United for 45 years, the first 5 I don't rememberBig Smile, but I'm sure I did. I remember going to watch United when they got relegated; I know every United fan I knew was gutted about relegation, but we came through it to become the greatest team on the planet. It makes me sick to hear some fans talking about sacking SAF; the man is a bona fide legend, and every United fan should be gratefull to have him here. It seems to me it's the glory hunter fans who are moaning; maybe they should go and support Real Madrid, then they won't have anything to moan about until the season starts, and all their superstars don't gel as a team. United fans have been spoilt with succes for the last 18 years, we don't have a divine right to win anything, it has to be earned.

never be ashamed to be a Manchester united supporter, apart from that i totally agree with what you say, to all our supporters i would just like to say, trust sir Alex, he has never let us down before, if we become like the Gooners and do not win anything for a few years then you can speak out, i think if that happened sir Alex would go any way, lets not forget what the man has achieved, it is second to none, and like Michael Jackson there will never be another, so lets give the man what he deserves a little bit of time, surely he deserves that at the very least keep the faith yours Georgie c

I have to say i agree with this post, its a sad period fan wise thats for sure, this is where a lad would have respect for the top two teams in the SPL both so different in there beliefs etc but notoriously loyal to there clubs... Its not the situation at Manchester United, the forum verifys that.

Man Utd supporters make me ashamed to be a Man Utd supporter

I can’t believe some of the reactions of our supporters with regard to the recent transfer window activity. Firstly Ronaldo and Tevez are not the first star players to leave Man Utd and I can promise you they won’t be the last, neither is Benzema the first player we missed out on, and trust me he won’t be the last, and even with that we have not done to badly we are like only the most successful team in England over the last 20 years, and something tells me that we going to enjoy more success in the future. Now I can understand the disappointment of the supporters, but surely the “sack fergie”, “we are going down”, ect.... threads are way too much. I mean is it really that bad? If so please explain to me, cause I for one don’t know what will happen next season, all I know is that other clubs would love to be in our position, just look at Loserfool or Gooners who can’t even afford to think about 30 million players and here at Man Utd we could possibly go crazy and think of buying 70 million pound players, and still our supporters are not happy. How do we know if Benzema was going to score 60 goals and be the new Cantona? If Nani plays to his potential who knows how good could he could be? Those youngsters, Tosic, Wellbeck, Macheda, ect.... don’t they deserve a chance? We all love Rooney or claim to, what happens if he nets 43 goals then what? What if Berba improves on his impressive first season, then we all going to be claiming he far better than Torres? Point is fellow supporters, we should support the team no matter what, yes let’s express our disappointment if we not happy, but at least be sensible about it, Manchester United Football Club is not about Fergie and Glazers and Gill it is all of us - cleaners, coaching staff, players, supporters, ect... If you say we going down that means you also going down, if you say sack fergie than remember you must sack yourself, we are the most fortunate and the best club in the world, let’s act like it regardless what happens, we are Manchester United Football Club. P.S. We all certainly make good football managers on play station, let’s leave the real stuff to the most successful manager ever, the game is actually written by watching what he does.
