this looks awesome cant wait for it to be available

Cheers shauno. Have to admit the interest isn't as big as I'd hoped but if a few people get use out of it I'll be happy enough. I use it all the time myself when I'm not at work (at a pc).

Cheers jmoney. Most of the app is done. I'm posting now from it, a few other people on here have the app also for testing.

Fancy testing the app? I think I could squeeze in another user... Plus you seem to post regularly, so you might use it.

Ah right clever ideas man - although as you programme more you do tend to get better and clever ideas like.. I use C# and will probably be using C++ in my next year in college!

Yep, true. iPhone apps are coded in Objective C. I think there are quite a few differences between it and C#/C++ but it should give you a good start point if you wanted to venture into iPhone programming. I code in Java, didnt like C++ much as far as I remember but I like Objective-C!

Yeah seems to be an inevitably never-ending ambition due to people not being able to get back to you - it's absolutely amazing work you've done getting every feature to work besides creating threads which I'm sure you'll get done fairly quickly!.. How did you even know how to create an iPhone app anyway? I have no idea personally!

I'll hopefully get other features done down the line, such as the ability to quickly change some options in your profile etc. At the min you can browse and make posts, bookmark posts, a bit like favourites, but doesnt tie in with favourites on the site yet. But thought these would be the main things you would want to do 'on-the-go'. Things like text formatting are removed also which means theres no bold, italics, underline or different font sizes. As the screen is small this could mess things up. But I use it quite a bit myself and am quite pleased with it.

Before I started this I didnt know anything about iPhone development. I work for a company and progam in a different programming language. Just bought a book and started reading stuff on the web about iPhone development and took it from there! Its not that bad to do actually. Fact I do programming already, albeit in another language, helped quite a bit.

Woop seems to be working Chris well done - I also think the fact that you're Irish and the only person who has tried setting this up shows just how large the irish fanbase is and fair bloody play to you - I'm English but live in Laois and am half Irish anyway and in a lot of ways consider myself very Irish so good on ya dude

Cheers mate! Yeah majority is working now, just need to add ability to create a new thread and its done. Still getting little info off the guys testing it though, they might be busy with other stuff though which is understandable but some feedback would be nice. Anyways, hoping to get it sorted and released soon....dunno how many times I've said that now!
