everything in their power to sign Ribery.

There's at least no german source that was linking him to Liverpool today. From my point of view there're still only two possibilities for Ribéry: Either Bayern or Madrid though it looks more likely at the moment that he'll stay in Munich for another season - that's what I can report from Germany for now.
