Re: An alternative view on the transfer window

Interesting idea, and in an ideal world im sure all clubs would give much more money to charities and there acadamys. But English and European Football is so competitive and the demand for success (from fans and club owners) is so high that clubs must do whatever it takes to get the best squad as quickly as possible.

An alternative view on the transfer window

Here’s a thought instead of spending 50 million on new “super star” we donate 10 million to local sports charities give 25 million to our academy to help develop young local talent. Keep Fraser Campbell and buy one further English forward Gabriel Agbonlahor for example. With this we separate ourselves from the almost immoral amounts being spent by Madrid and City, gain national acclaim for our philanthropy and dedication to the development of English talent.
