This is to all those so called “FANS”…who have slated SAF in the recent few weeks! Such as the most recent post I read “SAF is too old fashioned!”….and many more that I can not remember as I have tried my level best to FORGET those posts!
So…
I will not start by saying how big a fool those fans are….or how idiotic they are…or how selfish….glory hunting …SOBs they are.
No…
I will start by saying….FINE….its your opinion!! Think what you want to think!!
BUT I will stand by the decisions and judgments of our great manager and the club!!! I BELIEVE in them wether we WIN or LOSE!
Its EASY…..VERY easy…to think the way you guys are thinking!! Because…I mean…if the team does not perform well this year…well then WOW you guys look like GENIUSES. right?...and you can go around saying “I told you so…”……while on the other hand….if the team does well this season….you would still walk around saying “GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!”….

However, you forget the KEY element of being a fan is to support your team in any situation and especially a boss such as SAF (11 Premierships, TWO champions league)!
Yes you may have OPINIONS on his decision or certain complaints on how things are being handled! ….but NOT BEFORE at least giving a CHANCE and see how things go for about a season or two! To slate and question SAF …BEFORE giving the season is over….or ANY player for that matter is completely ABSURD!!! and then even defending yourself with “I have a right to have an opinion!” is not good enough when you haven’t even given a chance!!
In all the SLATING posts that i have read.....l a lot of true fans have responded with well thought and meaningful responses …..some have even responded understandably in a very aggressive way!! I just thought I write a post…where I just calmly …collectively .....explain MY opinion why I think the slating is utterly rubbish!
First of all….you people must realize that SAF is the KING…or GODFATHER of football! So any posts or remarks that are slating him are going to deaf ears! You see the problem with you lot ….and trust me there are many such “fans” all over the world….for every club…not just Manchester United!!…..the problem with you guys are…you don’t seem to see the bigger picture! Which is…..NO FOOTBALL PERSONALITY GIVES A SHIITE WHAT YOU LOT THINK!.........Every manager of EVERY club knows that SAF is one of the most respected managers and they can clearly SEE why he is doing what he is doing! You do not see any club owner…or manager…or player attacking his decisions.....because THEY KNOW and can SEE…what you can not!
Secondly, buying STAR PLAYERS….who are clearly over priced…is not good business practice! And SAF is a manager….not JUST a coach! He is MANAGING the team and club! So he has to look at EVERYTHING!....Things we can not see sitting behind our monitors and behind the TV screen !!! Once you people understand that…maybe THEN you would realize how stupid it sounds when a WISH LIST is created EVERY SUMMER with all the worlds BEST NAMES as if the club has their own private GOLD MINE in their backyard!!!
Third…and MOST important in my opinion….STOP COMPARING US TO REAL MADRID!!! They are a BUSINESS! Not a FOOTBALL CLUB! They target revenues from MERCHANDISE more than from money earned by winning cups!!! They are BACKED by the government! They will buy the TOP players…and USE and ABUSE them!!! And will THROW them away when they do not feel that the player is generating REVENUE for them. Look at Van Nistleroy….he was a having a decent season. However he is being thrown out! WHY? Because he was not judged on football….he was judged on how much money he brings the club through POPULARITY!....on the other hand we have GIGGSY…..who lost his speed….but SAF decided to prolong his career by utilizing him smartly and efficiently!! Because he cares!!
R. Madrid…they ENCOURAGE their players to live life extravagantly and to be seen in public and parties!! More Publicity and popularity means more shirts and merchandise being sold which equals more $$$!!!!................. Unlike SAF….. who Nurtures and Develop their players on and OFF the football field….reminding them to keep their heads down and concentrate on the game…believing in his players…prolonging their careers….giving them opportunities to start a career in professional football through his well developed youth camps!
So please. Think about it before you write posts that are slating our great manager and the players! Productive criticism is always appreciated…but only AFTER giving a chance!! Valencia has not even kicked a ball for the team and we have people slating him! It is truly sad!
It is the main reason why fewer and fewer loyal United Fans, who are members of this FORUM, are returning to read or write posts! I believe….sooner or later I myself will give up and remain a dormant member myself!!
