    Best SAF Buy:-

    1) Ronaldo (archive so much while his only 24, hate to see him go but we can't really do much about it when the boy dreams is to play for Real)

    2) Rooney (his becoming a legend in the making if he choose to play with us in years to come, much more greatness to come from him)

    3) Vidic (a brave heart of our time, rambo in the field, he already kick some world class player ass Messi, Torres etc...reminds me of Steve Bruce era)

    4) Anderson (while some of you wouldn't agree with me, but he has already done so well in the middle for us only now his goal will proven him to be the best)

    5) Hargreaves (only into his first season, already help us to win the EPL & CL...sadly he got a major injuries that we miss so much of him last season. He can play anywhere on the field, good buy indeed. I really hope to see him play again)

    POST TREBLE - TRANSFERS

    WORST

Taibi (always makes my jaw drop whenever he starts, not bwecause of his good saves but of his horrble mistakes.

    Djemba-djemba

    Bellion

    Miller

Fangzhou (Chinese guy, no offence but he was really useless. Big difference from PARK)

    BEST

    1. ROONEY and RONALDO (i dont care their number 1 together) hahahaha

    2. VIDIC and RIO (i just feel their as one) hahaha forgive me

    3. EVRA

    4. VAN DER SAR

    5. DA SILVA TWINS (the future is very bright)

    5. OBERTAN (3 million punds? now thats a coup) hahahahaha

I am refraining for typing a list because of the silly limits the OP wants to place on it.  You either include everyone or you don't.  Also one issue with rating a manager in transfers is also taking into account the transfers he did not make.  Sometimes it is not getting or tranferring out a player that is either a brilliant move or a mistake.  Of course those are also the hardest transfers to judge because you don't know who was actually turned down or what deals were walked away from.

    Man_utd_forever:

1 Ronaldo( he was the best player in the world)

2 Van Nistelrooy( best goalscorer ever in a United shirt)

                 3 Evra ( a fantastic defender

4 Rooney ( a great player with a lot more to come)

5 Fletcher( our next midfield general, he is getting better and better)

i agree pretty much. here...tho someone is stating that rooney and VDS were not to be mentioned but hey the title said 5 best right...lol

    Best

    Van Nistelrooy

    Rio Ferdinand

    Patrice Evra

    Henrik Larsson (short but sweet)

Michael Carrick (although a short blip still been good overall)

    Worst

    Djemba-Djemba

    David Bellion

    Kleberson

    Liam Miller

    Massimo Taibi

In fairness it was probrably easie to fill out the bettertransfer list than the bad transfer list. This is opposed to the belief that ferguson is bad in the transfer market but he has a better record than he gets credit for. Also the list of good and bad transfers show how United build teams and not buy them

Berbatov??? Please!!... a bit of king eric??? STFU, go get some sleep you're just not thinking clearly.

Well I'm not the only one probably who noticed it and thank you but in EST its not really sleeping time. You probably meant they dont have that much in common in mentality which they really dont but you cant deny no one had such similar playing stile to Cantona in the past years...

    BME:
It just popped into my mind whrn I read about owen and obertan... Shouldnt include Ronaldo Wazza and VDS ('cause that way really only two places are open) also you might want to make clear if you take the money into account, well i do.

    So my bests:

    1. Nistelrooy (THE goalscorer for no money)

    2. Carrick (whatever you say he got us back to EPL championship after 3 years)

    3. Evra (LB solved for 10 years)

    4. Vida (soon to be best CB from nowhere)

    5. Owen (just what we need for a cup of tea)

+1 BERBATOV (I see a bit of King Eric in him and I wouldnt mind us giving a fortune for that)

    And the ones to forget

    1. Veron

    2. Saha (why did SAF like him so much? he messed up RVN too)

    3. Kleberson (remember him? 2 goals for 8mil)

    4. Blanc (Oh please, for Staam?)

    5. Manucho (the result of a year of a scout's 'research' in africa...)

Berbatov??? Please!!... a bit of king eric??? STFU, go get some sleep you're just not thinking clearly.

    3 - van der Sar

Re: Top 5 best and worst post-treble SAF transfers?

    best forwards:

    1) Van Nisterooy - van will allways be the man

    2) Solskjaer - the norwegian no one had ever heard of - the babyface assasin (norwegian myself)

    3) Rooney - our pride

    4) Ronaldo - just brilliant, but it went over all too soon. (too much of a crybaby)

    5) Owen - if he finds his goalscoring form, this will undoubtably be the best pen to paper in a long time.

I'll leave the flops to you, I pretty much agree with that
